Do people really like the Oreo look? I'd rather they make the back a solid piece of metal.
A friend of mine swears that my phone is huge, but it's really not. Once jumping to 4.3" screen size and this form factor the iphone 4s screen looks tiny, and my phone isn't much bigger than the 4s, just a bit taller.
well, they can do that, but good luck using wifi/cellular/gps.

if the antennas are still in the band around the edge, why would it mater what the back is made of?
Is the black one at an angle, or does it really have darker aluminum?http://9to5mac.com/2012/05/29/photo...ck-taller-screen-moved-earphone-jack-present/
Not sure what you just said.
The dock connector is useful because it's able to transmit different types of signals without conversion. You can make different types of dock connector cables that can transmit USB, Firewire, HDMI, VGA, and so on without requiring any sort of conversion box in between. It can also supply much higher power than regular USB.
Wow, that font on the white look incredibly fake now that I look at it...Those two "leaks" are different. Not just the font on the back, but the aspect ratio.

Um whats the difference betweenhttp://9to5mac.com/2012/05/29/photo...ck-taller-screen-moved-earphone-jack-present/

Why does the front frame screen in that pic not look 16:9? I'm probably seeing things, but the front frame doesn't look as long as the rest of it..
MHL is just using the usb connector to transmit HDMI, not the USB protocol. Even then, MHL doesn't transmit the connections I just stated.Um whats the difference between
Apple's Digital AV Adapter cable

And Samsung's MHL adapter cable

Or between Samsung's usb host adapter and Apple's camera connection kit?
Headphone jack on the bottom is really stupid and it looks cluttered.
yeah, noHeadphone jack on the bottom is really stupid and it looks cluttered.
Headphone jack on the bottom is really stupid and it looks cluttered.
Yes.
Headphone jack on the bottom is really stupid and it looks cluttered.
Yes.
It's idiotic and uncomfortable on the 3DS and it will be here too. Terrible position for a headphone jack.
thats not final design right? the black one looks Ok but the white one is really weird looking
What in god's name makes you people think the headphone jack on the bottom is a good choice?
Easier to put in/take out of the pocket, no headphone cord getting in your way when using the phoneWhat in god's name makes you people think the headphone jack on the bottom is a good choice?

iPod Touch has always been this way;Headphone jack on the bottom is really stupid and it looks cluttered.

In hand, I don't want to need an extra long cable. It's going to wrap over the phone and into your field of vision, or wrap under or to the side and possibly disturb your hand. On top it just heads up towards your ears, with no chance of any of those problems.Uhhh no, it's better on the bottom. Both in pocket and in hand.
How does the cord not get in the way when on the bottom?Treefingers said:Easier to put in/take out of the pocket, no headphone cord getting in your way when using the phone

In pocket, it doesn't matter.
It's easier and more natural to put the phone in upside down.I'm with you. Unless you put your phone in your pocket upside-down, it makes way more sense on the top of the phone.
Yes.

But at the end of the day the microusb port can do all those things like apple's ports if you get the right adapters right? Maybe in 2007 microusb was useless but today I don't really see the practical difference. Apple would never switch ofcourse because they love the control of the 'Made for iPhone' program.MHL is just using the usb connector to transmit HDMI, not the USB protocol. Even then, MHL doesn't transmit the connections I just stated.
Those aren't speakers - one is a speaker, and one is a mic.Ok, the bottom looks really beautiful, but I can't get over the asymmetrical speaker sizes because of the headphone port taking up the space. But man that new port is hot.
Front facing camera being in the center is also interesting, but man that back is still ugly as fuck.
Can they put the GPS antennas on the edge too? Like I said, I think the issue in past devices is the GPS. I referenced the Transformer Prime before, here's an article on that.

Why would it need to wrap around the phone? it just heads up to the ears.I don't understand what you're saying about in hand. It doesn't disturb my hand it all. It just points towards my torso and goes up to my head. If it was at the top, it would have to wrap around the phone somehow which is unnecessary.
I've already commented on why it's better for in pocket use. I don't want to have to flip my phone over when I take it out of my pocket.
