Now that you mention it... I actually don't have any cargo shorts anymore. I'm 32 and just naturally phased them out of my rotation as my sense of style changed. As a slimmer dude, they're a bit too bulky for me and kinda through off the balance of my wardrobe. #shrug

A purse seems so much more practical. You can set it down almost whenever you like, you don't have it on your knees, and you don't have to move all the stuff from one day to another.
Guys who need to carry stuff should start embracing the purse.

There's nothing more amazing/cute than a girl finding out her skirt or dress has pockets sewn into them.
They make your legs look weird and seriously how often are you using those extra pockets? If you're doing some sort of work where you need pockets then maybe they're a good idea, but if you're just walking around why not take the pair that make you look nicer?

I like that I can securely hold things without worry of theft or falling out. Traveling I can fit a m4/3 camera with a pancake lens in a pocket while only wearing shorts and T-shirt.

You'll just have to imagine a handsome gentleman wearing these fine garments. Before you cast aspersions, though, keep in mind all this stuff is very expensive designer clothing and is featured in magazines, which makes it cool and stylish by default.

PS: My wife bought me some new cargos at Old Navy earlier in the summer before our beach trip. She obviously is fine with them unlike the wife in the story. *Shrugs*

This to me is what is hilarious about cargo shorts. Even the "good" pics like these or the ones with John Cena in the other thread look absolutely hideous. They look completely disgusting there.
For the most part they're an easy tell that someone is american too. Almost nobody in NZ/AU wears them and I'd imagine it's the same in Europe.
Also not caring about fashion is only acceptable if you're married, over 40, and both you and your spouse have given up caring. If you're single/young/want your spouse to still be attractive to you, you shouldn't be seen wearing these virginity protectors.

In my experience in Europe, the older men were styled out better than the youth. French and Italian dudes in their 60s and 70s rocking that understated but immaculate look.

Also what does that even mean, Bond is a fictional character. I too would prefer that I don't get betrayed by my lover who then gets killed, tortured, beat, injured, shot repeatedly, and have an inability to have a regular family life.
