Yeah, but is Sammo Hung as big as Bolo is? I've never seen Hung before.
There are a couple of scenes in Bloodsport where you can really see how fast Yeung is; in one scene, the camera is positioned on the side/rear, and he throws out a palm strike to the opponent's solar plexus (I've obviously seen Bloodsport about 47 times
), and you literally have to watch it in slow-motion to see the recoil of his hand (you can't see the initial strike because they cut to the angle late). In another scene, he does a hopping front kick to the guy's sternum followed up by another quick front kick...all in like one second. Crazy.
And to think that not only is the guy absolutely MASSIVE, but he was 50 years old when they filmed that movie-- that's amazing. He was even scarier in Double Impact with Van Damme. I like how he manhandles Van Damme in the truck when they first meet. I also love how he does the nose snort thing, as if to say that he's so unworried about the outcome of the fight that he's just chillin'.
