Actually, visibility does effect radar, because radar functions by reflecting radio waves off an object and back to their source. So, if an object is invisible, then the radio waves cannot reflect off it.
It does, you are correct. Even though it should have been detected as the plane wasn't completely invisible, I am not gonna argue any further as I have wasted a huge amount of my life locking horns with others about fictional shit.

No, you will continue arguing about this. You've changed your argument now that I've disproven your original one; you never said that the plane wasn't completely invisible before and the movie does not suggest that. You are wrong. Just admit that you are.

As you can see it is not completely invisible and the outline was still visible.

I was just pointing even though you are right, it would still theoretically show up on radar even as a small blip but I don't want to go too much into this because at the end of the day,, this is a movie and I made the mistake of going too much into minute details.
I admit my 1st assumption that visibility wouldn't affect was wrong as my understanding about working of RADAR was wrong and had it confused with SONAR which works underwater. Then after your comment I read more about it and then admitted you were right about visibility but also learned it should still show up as a small blip.
My argument was wrong completely, the second wasn't an argument but I can easily see why you interpreted as such because of my poor framing.

Damn what a terrible boring movie. Nothing like the first one which was great. This one was just terrible, also thanks to Kristen Wig. Nothing funny

I've only watched like 12 minutes but like did the amazons change their accents to match Gal Gadots. I could have sworn that they all had American accent like versions last time.

Remember this film was delayed by nearly a year. He absolutely is a Trump characture.

The whole film is a slap in the face for toxic masculinity, and yay whamins are the bestest evah!

If anything, Maxwell Lord is the embodiment of 80s greed. His character is nothing like Trump. If you watched the movie, you'd see that. He's an actual sympathetic figure. Trump isn't

He's a larger than life embodiment of the pyramid schemes that were so rampant in the 80s. He's nothing like Trump outside of some similarities in appearance.

Thank you! Jenkins probably said the Trump thing to get woke libs to come see it. But he was actually

a devoted father that just wanted his son to be proud of him... A man who grew up being told he wasn't good enough because he was an immigrant and the son of immigrants... Which is something 80s movies made fun of often... I remember a line from a movie back then... "Two Wongs don't make a white" ... Spoken by a white character. Never sat well with me.

Trash movie. Patty Jenkins looking like a bit of a hack at the moment.
When she did a 180 on being mad at her movie going streaming, and it came out she and Gal has both gotten $10 million hush money to support the denigration of their own work, yeah, it was pretty clear to me she is a hack. No wonder she is doing a Star Wars.

Have not seen this yet but I have a thing for WW so at the very least will watch with the sound off

Same thing. I just watched Gremlins 2 and it had an evil business tycoon villain named Clump. For decades Trump has been synonymous with evil conceited business guy. Lol give me a break.

Oof lol. TDS detected

Was working while my mom was watching it on our TV. Yeah. Even by just listening to it catching the occasional glimpse it's not as good as the first movie. The plot is a little too goofy for my taste and as great as he is in The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal is not a good villain as Maxwell Lord. It's also way too slow at times when it could have stand some editing.

The good things about are the leads. Gal for me is still great as Diana and she is Chris Pine as a returning Steve Trevor still have great chemistry. Also, Kristin Wiig is surprisingly great Cheetah. And damn, has she always been this HOT?

Lastly, while I think the movie is a bit disappointing, it's got a big heart and an inspiring message of hope. Which I think is perfect for the character. Wonder Woman is not a grim and gritty super hero. And thank God for that.

The whole thing just looked and felt cheap. Like some bad 80s tv show.

Bumping into her would be rapist again conveniently. Mando teleporting to his kid. Magic technology. Sudden abilities. Cornball romance and one dimensional dialogue.

I didn't laugh. I didn't feel tension. I wasn't crying over Chris Pine. The whole thing was hackery.

Not woke at all... At least not as far as I could see.
Dude...really?

Having EVERY SINGLE GUY hit on Diana AT THE TIME, then transfer that to Barbara just so she could
beat some poor drunk to death
.

And then at the end it's almost all men having to
rescind their evil evil wishes for nukes nukes nukes

There is a distinct anti-male vibe through the film IMHO.

That's a shot of it transitioning from visible to invisible. It becomes completely invisible after the transition is complete. C'mon, now.

I know you think you’re right, hunny child, however the production team DID take aspects of Trump and funnelled them into Lord’s character. Alongside this, Pascal is an avowed anti-Trumper.

If you’d done your homework, you’d know this.

this is along with Birds of Prey, Suicide Squad and JL which are absolute shit movie.

I know Gadot is terrible war monger and she can't act for her life but OFF she was extra terrible in this. She should have stayed as extra in F&F movies.

And we laughed for The Flash TV show having terrible speed effects but look at this shit.
Civil War had right idea for how they shoot running scenes.

CGI in this is TERRIBLE, Gadot acting is shit, story is nonsense and writing is terrible.

My wife and I wished they would have spent more time on his back story instead of the shopping mall mess and island scenes at the beginning. All we got were 45 seconds of flashback at the very end of the movie.

So after finishing the movie it's honestly one of the most most awkwardly bad movies I've seen in a long time. Like the last 20 minutes are so are just an incredible mess of continuity and editing in addition to all the strange writing choices.

The golden armor was also blatantly tacked on and even though they had a logical explanation for using it sitting in their laps they opted to just not use it. Like you're doing a movie where Diana is losing her powers so putting her in a position where she needs the armor to help even the odds works. But she gets her powers back before she even puts it on and all she does is stomp a couple turrets and a few soldiers which she had been doing pretty much all movie when her powers were degrading anyway. And what's worse is they have this long sequence of her swinging through the air and learning how to fly in pursuit of Lord but then it just suddenly cuts to her all the way back at her apartment to pick up the armor. WTF? It's like they forgot she needed the armor for the final scene.

The movie is honestly ASM2 tier except ASM2 at least had like 30 or so minutes of a mostly good Spider-Man movie in it before it completely went off the rails. I'm not sure the same can really be said of WW84.

As much as I didn't care for the first WW I was actually excited for this. Hell, it was the only comic book movie I was interested in. I think I'm just done with superhero movies now. I'll watch youtube clips of Keaton and Garfield's returns but that's all the interest I can muster.

It was bad. The first movie didn't wow me either and this cements my suspicion that Patty Jenkins is a hack. I thought she got a 20 point Rotten Tomatoes vagina director handicap last time around and I think the 67 for this one is still too generous.

It was not great, felt like a made for TV movie. The whole premise was dumb. It really felt like it was written by a person who never lived through the 80s too. Every guy in the movie cat called or assaulted every pretty woman in public. I guess this goes with the theme all men are dogs (except Steve) and woman power.

I read all of the warnings and criticisms so I went in with pretty low expectations, it was actually far worse than I even thought it could be.. I really enjoyed the first movie to be honest so I had to go see what went wrong because it was the same director.. only to notice that the director took up the writing position this time around and it's the writing that killed it.

Really enjoyed the film, the "villain" was great and posed a threat without being a rehash of every other super villain we've seen before. Action was fine, and it didn't overdo the 80s nostalgia. Wasn't all girl-power and 'men are bad' either which was a pleasant surprise.

The first film was a 4 or 5, this is a 6 or 7 out of ten.

Definitely worth a watch if bored in lockdown.

Is it dumber than the first movie? I feel like the first movie mostly got hyped for having a female director, but I couldn't take it seriously when it had a "shop-for-a-new-wardrobe" montage.
