Im using beta versiosn of ios7 and itunes and ever since I had to factory restore my phone a few days ago it won't sync music/tones at all. Nothing works.

Any help?

Yup. probably bug fixes.

This update addresses an issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items. If you have any devices running previous versions of iOS 7 beta, you must:
1. Install iOS 7 beta 6
2. Install the ResetMusicAndVideosLibraries configuration profile
3. From Settings > Music, tap the Reset Media Library button
4. Restart the device

Nope? It only says it's provided by Yahoo but no actual weather or stocks.

Weather location services need to be turned on to display the Weather forecast, not sure about Stocks (assuming neither are manually turned off from appearing in the NC settings).

where do you turn on privacy mode on ios7beta ipad? on my iphone it is under bookmarks (why here of all places?) but i can't seem to find it on my ipad 4. Also is anyone having problems searching for apps on the ipad in the app store?

For some reason I'll do a search for apps I know exist and I can't find them. I end up having to download through itunes and then syncing.

When you enter a URL in Safari, you have the option of turning on private mode above the keyboard.

Ugh...folders wasting so much space on the ipad. Why did it go backwards?

I personally like it this way since I make folders of nine apps anyway so I can always look at a glance to see if the app I want is in there and with iOS 7 it looks much nicer when I open (zoom into) a folder.

I'd be curious to see if the iPad version of iOS7 ships in October with the new iPads. Even if it's to give it a bit more polish.

That said, isn't the rumor that the iPhone was the priority with iOS7, at least in terms of the initial effort? Sort of makes sense. I mean, on Apple's own site they don't even show the iPad on the iOS7 page. Wasn't the case with iOS6.

I still feel like there is a little bit more to the iPad version that's to come. Might have to wait until iOS8 or a signficant iOS7 update down the line.

*Ends random musings.

I think it'll come at the same time as the iPhone in September. They haven't updated the ios7 webpage since they unveiled it (except for that minor update when they were using a few wrong app icons) and that's why what they're showing there still looks like the old betas of ios7. I'm guessing they're saving their time and effort to update the webpage until next months unveiling.

Battery life on beta 6 is killer. 91% left after almost 1.5 hours of use. This thing is ready for mass consumption...

I've never understood the battery complaints for any version. With beta 5 my ip5 went 21 hours standby and 4 hours use and was around 50%. As crappy as that is, it is way better than my old android phone (my blackberry could do 5+ days standby and dumbphones even longer). I havent checked with beta 6 but I havent felt like the battery life is bad. I guess I just don't understand what people are expecting -- i never had an earlier iphone

Looks like we should be getting beta 7 today, according to some rumors. I've had some bad luck with batteyr life on both my ipad mini and iphone 5 with beta 5/6 (worse than betas 3 and 4). Maybe it's cuz of itunes match? not sure.

anyway, I look forward to the new update today. Also hoping for an itunes beta update that will fix proper syncing (mainly for picture abums and podcasts)

Oh come on. At least put out a Mavericks update to fix the issues DP5 brought. I've noticed 10 times more bugs in DP5 than DP4 had. I'd go through the arduous 2-hour process of reverting to DP4 if I wasn't afraid they'd just release DP6 as soon as I finished.

Note: DP4 was so stable. DP5 seems to have broken so much. I can no longer type to search for apps in LaunchPad, the scrolling issue comes back every time, Mission Control and all OS X's gestures seem to flake out all the time.. I was sure it'd be out today. Though DP5 was delayed to a Tuesday so maybe it'll be tomorrow.

Must say that beta 6 is pretty great. 7 will probably just be battery performance and minor fixes I guess.

Beta 6 was an emergency iCloud bugfix build to counter some new issues in Beta 5, which is why it arrived out "of order" on a Friday so to speak. I guess this is where the rumour that Beta 7 were hitting today came from as this was the 'intended' time for Beta 6.

But yeah, BGR is far from reputable when it comes to these things.

Beta 6 is really solid for me for the most part besides a few bugs, just need continued battery improvements

And no up-next is music app at this point is still pathetic

Here's hoping Apple listens and gets something like it in for 7.1 (too late for .0 now). Their old vision of people not micromanaging their listening on-the-go and only listen to predefined playlists/albums doesn't really fly anymore.

Does iTunes Radio have a queue? I don't remember, only tried it out briefly back in beta 1...

Why god why haven't they implemented hold volume buttons to switch songs functionality!? I can't wrap my head around the reason for ignoring the simplest and most awesome tweak there ever was.

I do not understand why anyone would think that is awesome.

Because people currently hold volume buttons to adjust the volume.

They could make it an option, like silence/orientation on the iPad.
I used it for a bit back when I jailbroke and it was nifty. Useful in situations where you can't look.

I sure love having to bring my phone up while biking and press two buttons just to go to the next song.
The use is pretty apparent to me.
