Luger 2005, my man. Hell, at least Rick Martel was able to generate heat. This Masters guy....bleh. Another vanilla big man for Vince to pimp.

At least Luger had the steel plate in his forearm. OMG! ITS ILLEGAL!

Also, Masters doesnt have a Yokozuna to slam. Unless...

In not-so related news I ate dinner 10 feet away from Jamie Noble Saturday night and didnt have the balls to say anything to him.

First time I've watched RAW in a long while...I thought the Benoit/Hassan match was pretty good...I just wonder if the ring-bell part was botched...it soooo didn't connect heheh.

Superstar Billy Graham did a great job...I'd rather have him commentating rather than the King.

The Edge-HBK match was great.

I love HBK. He's my favorite wrestler of all time.

But for the love of god, Michaels, put someone else over. :lol

The chairshot, the spear, the DDT.... so many chances for HBK to just throw in the towel and let Edge get the three count, but no, he has to steal the spotlight for himself.

Michaels did a great job last night. Just a solid effort top to bottom. But would it have killed him to give Edge the win, the guy NEEDS it. When's the last time he actually won a match?

I can kind of understand why though, they needed to kick off the feud between Angle and HBK (MY GOD is that match going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!), but why AFTER the bell had rung?
EDIT: Someone needs to help HBK though. His hairlin e is receding FAST and it's kind of weird looking now everytime he blades he has this nice shiny bald spot up top.

The whole show was great, especially the HOF announcement. Long overdue Vince. Piper and Hogan on the same stage together, it should be interesting to say the least. The buildup going into Mania is making it a can't miss show. Even my wife who hasn't watched since the attitude days marked out for the Pipers Pit announcement.

Let's just all hope the pace can be kept up to and THROUGH Mania. The company needs to start winning back it's fans in a big way.

PS: the Few Good Men parody was FANTASTIC!

I think it was a fanstatic Raw.

I do agree with Edge beating HBK.. I mean he put him over at the Royal Rumble would it have hurt to do it a second time? Wouldn't it have been just as easy to have Angle attack Shawn causing him the match?

Well good. Wrestlers HATE having their meals interrupted.

Briefe, but VERY correct. Want to get a pro-wrestler on his bad side? Bother him while he's either on his cell or eating. These guys dont have a lot of private time as it is.... so dont bother them while they are trying to relax.

Here's something I posted at another forum regarding Vince McMahon's recent injuries. It's somewhat off-topic but amusing nonetheless.

Observer Newsletter said:
The injuries to Vince are pretty damn serious. He's going to be wheelchair bound for months, and we've heard it is most likely going to be for more than six months. He can't even get out of his wheelchair on his own at this point even to get to bed. He's not about to let anyone outside of his family see him in this condition, so he won't be at TV for probably months, and people are wondering if he'll even come to Mania this year. ...He hasn't been seen by the wrestlers (aside from HHH) since the surgery.

Maybe I'm just sick but I find the concept of Vince McMahon rolling around in a wheelchair absolutely hysterical. I literally laughed out loud for a good three minutes just picturing him begrudgingly having to be helped into bed. What's really comical is the fact that the only reason his other quad was injured is because he's so prideful that he couldn't allow the wrestlers to see him look weak in the back so he refused any assistance. What a fragile ego that man has.

Well, I'm just glad Hogan is gonna be at Mania...with Piper....as a Hall of Famer. Brings a tear to this young man's heart. :)

You ain't kidding. Having Hogan and ALL of his major rivals from the 80's on one stage together. It's going to be great. They are all deserving as well. Nive to see Vince FINALLY honoring his talents the way they should be.

Despite all the bad blood and anger between the talent and Vince he still honors them on the grandest stage there is.

Piper's Pit is going to be VERY amusing as well. Pipers gonna get stunnered out of his boots.

EDIT: BigJonsson ?you missed a hellacious Street Fight between Edge and Shawn Micahels. Both put on a great performance and took some nasty shots. Ladders, chairs, trash cans, crowd brawling. It had it all. Even a surprise appearance at the end.

This is gonna be the first Wrestlemania PPV I will order in a while.

Cena vs JBL - WWE Title
Batista vs HHH - World title
Undertaker vs Orton
Angle vs HBK
Piper's Pit w/ Steve Austin

Plus you can expect the Raw & SD! tag titles to be defended and even the Cruiserweight belt between Chavo and Paul London.

That Edge/Michaels match was more ECW than ECW. All they needed was Taz cursing through a 10 minute promo beforehand and it would have been perfect. :lol

Edge really needs to go over HBK once he's finished with Angle though...I appreciate that it fleshes out Edge's character to have this obsession with Michaels but he has to win eventually.

He did beat Michaels though at the Royal Rumble.. or have folks forgetten about that?

Yeah, but he would have gotten even more out of a win last night. If they're building to Angle/HBK anyways, why not let Edge have a clean pin? Or win due to Angle-ference?

I love the way micheals is so pissed at Angle for coming back to the rumble after getting eliminated yet he did the same thing to jericho the year before :lol

i dont know how this mania can top the last one where Benoit won the title. That was simply Awesome.

Six way IC Title Ladder Match. That's how....... just wait. It will be offically announced.

It was cool how he got the big fucker up for the FU but by then he'd already went from one of my favorites to one of my least favorites.

They should have saved the 500lbs FU for XX. He already did it once or twice before that.
Speaking of Cena, he'd better get his ringwork together and FAST. The guy is great on the mic, but every time he tries to wrestle I inevitably fall asleep. He must have the most boring moveset on the entire roster. The 5-knuckle is okay, the pump up is alright, the throwback is retarded and the FU is not exactly a grade-A finisher. Anything else he does it pretty dull. He needs to find a better style NOW.

Batista actually had some charisma this episode which is good, but he obviously still needs to work on it. Hopefully he can get it all together by the time WM21 is finished.

Oh and the Masterpiece... was that poorly executed or what? Give him some cocky lines on the mic. How are fans supposed to connect to a character who's supposed to be full of himself and yet says nothing?

Agreed that Cena's moveset is horrible. The FU in particular has always bugged me. It's a goddamn firemans carry!

Regarding Chris Masters, I was amused by his opponent. For those who don't know and since JR referred to him entirely as "young man", his name is John Walters and he's currently the Pure Title champion in ROH. That double knee backbreaker that Maven has been doing recently is one of his signature moves. As far as his seemingly out-of-nowhere appearance, I guess they ran out of jobbers for last night. Masters hurt Stevie Richards last week, Rosey is in Puerto Rico, and Hurricane had already jobbed earlier on. Outside of Steve Lombardi who's probably a bit too old at this point, there was really no one for him to go over.

The Few Good Men parody was AWESOME. I thought JBL and Cena acted that scene very well, especially JBL. I'm starting to warm to him now. I hated him for the longest, and not just in a heel way, in a "get the fuck off my tv" kinda way. But now, I'm loving his character. And his acting in that scene was pretty damn good. WWE's production value has definitely gone through the roof. Too bad the ringwork has gone down the shitter. :( PEACE.

When he first started using it, it was the Death Valley Driver. Apparently WWE didn't like it so they watered it down. Not his fault.

I can see at Wrestlemania a 'special' visit to Vince by Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley. The best moments on WWE happened to Vince in a hospital bed! :lol

A big musclebound body builder who thinks he's Lex Luger. But only has 1/10 of Lugers ring skill and even less of his charisma and I'm no Luger fan by any means.

Luger is a peffetic wrestler. Guess why you don't see him in NWA or WWE.

Chris Masters is half the wrestler luger was... which wasn't much.

Speaking of which, that double knee backbreaker is fucking BRUTAL.

Indeed. Walters calls it the "Lungblower" which is a pretty crappy name. Then again, Walters is a pretty crappy wrestler so maybe it fits.

The only reason RAW gets some love from me is becuase of Mohammed Hassan.

The guy is RAW. I fucking love him and his gimmick. The way he looks at the fans when they boo him. Priceless

Also his ring ability is pretty sweet, reminds me of Rock and Brock. He's a big guy, but the way he changes his momentum and speed during big impact moves is sooo fluid. Amazing agility for such a huge guy.

He's going to be big, love WWE for sticking with the gimmick too. Class

I wish he faced JBL at Wrestlemania. Imagine the promos going back and forth :lol

Did you actually see the show last night? Aside from screwing up an irish whip (yes, an irish whip), he completely botched the ending. He was supposed to turn over and Benoit was to land on the ring bell that Hassan was holding. Well, Hassan failed to roll over and Benoit hit the headbutt regularly. Then, they had to scramble and come up with some ending where Hassan kicked Benoit in the groin getting himself disqualifed. I guess he didn't consider the fact that this course of action ended the undefeated streak he's been building. JR had to cover by saying that Hassan still hasn't been beaten by pinfall or submission.

I will agree that his promos rock but his in-ring work leaves a ton to be desired. Seriously, if you can't have a good match with Chris Benoit, something is wrong with you.

Agreed! I thank Gabe for not booking him in Chicago Saturday night. He's really the only wrestler in ROH I cant stand. I really wish the WWE would just sign the guy.

Exactly what i was thinking when i saw it, i love his Mic work but he is seriously way too green on the ring......and what's the deal with HBK? It would of been a perfect ending if he actually of let Angle Olympic Slam him and let Edge get the pin....even though i feel Edge will always be a mid carder at best, it would of been the best for the business side of things....but oh yeah that's right, it's the WWE where they let HHH babble on for 10 mins at the start of the show this week and every other week somewhere in the show and they didn't even have Captain Charisma on the show! wtf

The "Hollywood" Wrestlemania promos are awesome. Basic Instinct being the best one I've seen so far.

Anyone know a link to where you can watch them online?

Any help will result in a knighthood...

Wow, Cena and JBL did an awesome job there. Cena is some movie coming up, name escapes me but he supposed to be good in it.

Well, looking at the Smackdown spoilers... it's official. That show is DEAD to me.

Is Vince so blind to how shitty his show is just because his daughter is the lead writer?

Ugh... you want to be disgusted... go look. Cringe at the title change that happened too.

ok just watched raw. WWE fucked up that ending of the main event. Michaels would have way more heat on angle going into wrestlemania if angle fucked him over allowing edge to pick up the win. Would of benefited everybody involved tremendously. Edge is going to fuck michaels over at WM though.

Loved HHH's intensity in his promo but what the fuck was hurricane doing out there? :lol

Nobody else was available to job out to HHH. Frankly, it would have been more effective if Hurricane had cut in with a promo of his own about Hunter's blatherings, only to be destroyed afterwards.

Give me the book!

What?

You thought they were going to keep the belt on Cena? He is slated to beat JBL at WM, so why would he have 2 titles?
