There's alot if people hating on it, but I thought that was a decent Summerslam despite the awkward pacing and the long runtime. It was a bad idea to have the final two matches go the way they did and expect to send the crowd home happy. I have no problem with the way the matches were booked by themselves, but they shouldn't have put them back to back and as show closers. Much of the crowd energy was sucked out after the Styles/Cena match, but I don't know what else they expected from a six hour event. As for the matches themselves...
12 man tag - seemed like a way to get everyone on the show, I'm liking the inclusion of so many tag teams though, but I dread the introduction of another tag title.
Zayn/Neville vs Dudley's - Zayn and Neville are a fun team, but their talents should be placed elsewhere. I would like to see Bubba Rat as a midcard heel as well.
Cesaro vs Sheamus - many people in this thread were calling it a snoozefest, but I dug it alot. These two work well together and I'm excited for the rest of the series.
Enzo/Cass vs JeriKo - I've come down quite a bit on Enzo and Cass. They've shown that aside from their usual prematch banter that their promo skills leave a bit to be desired, especially with the shitty gay jokes as of late. JeriKO are probably the most entertaining duo on the roster.
Charlotte vs Sasha - they've had some good matches but haven't come close to their NXT work IMO. Charlotte has potential to be incredible, but she still can't make it through a night without fucking something up. Sasha needs to relax and tone down her style a bit.
Miz vs Creed - Miz is doing the best work of his career right now. It was also the right decision to have him go over. Crews impressed me as well, if he can work on his character/promos he might just have a future.
AJ vs Cena - MOTN! Yes, it was the usual WWE/Cena big move match, but it was smooth and well executed. Great pacing as well.
The Club vs New Day - I like both teams, but meh. The Stewart inclusion was awkward, and I kind of forgot that this match even happened until I looked at the card results.
Ambrose vs Ziggler - sigh, what a bummer of a match. Ambrose has a good character but his ring work is a chore to watch. Ziggler is Ziggler, he's technically sound but has never really done it for me. It's a shame considering how well done the build up was.
Smackdown women's tag - I appreciate the time allowed for this match to happen. However, it was poorly put together and Carmella is just not ready for the main roster. The decision to feature her for the majority of the match is mind boggling. Naomi needs to change her offense, I believe someone in here referred to it as assfense. Those kicks of hers will never not crack me up. I'm glad Nikki is back though, she was a highlight.
Rollins vs Balor - the crowd was very fatigued at this point, and they highjacked the match with the hatred towards the new belt (it deserves it, but still). The match was fine, but I expected better. Balor is getting alot of shit from this forum, but I believe the quality of his matches are really going to depend on who he is facing off against. Creative is also doing their damnedest to ruin the demon gimmick.
Reigns vs Rusev - umm...I really dug it. I was bitching about this matches place on the card, but it really worked out as a brawl. More of this kind of Reigns and less comedian on the microphone please.
Orton vs Lesnar - Brock comes away looking like the monster he should. I know many people are tired of him and are pissed about the test results, but I still believe his monster persona is one of the best in the biz.
Overall, odd match placement and an exhausting runtime. I'm fairly happy with the event though.
