Moved up to the legendary tier in exhibition with two pro epics and the rest pro UR

Thought it would be enough, but it's not since everyone seems to be using commons to get full pro epic/pro legendary teams

So my team of max pro UR Cena, Miz, Rick Rude, and Flair along with a max pro SR Paige still has me stuck at about 1/3 up the Epic++ bar and about 2/3 to 3/4 up the UR bar for KOTR. Am I going to need to luck out and get a max pro Epic or a max pro UR diva or higher to move up? Or should I put just enough decent bench guys in KOTR to bump me up to Epic and take my chances there? Putting in my one maxed Epic card (Booker T) and my old max pro Rare Eva Marie on my bench would bump me up to Epic KOTR. My main reservation going that route is that I think my Diva's not good enough to carry me for the common tag team strategy.

Managed to get to rank 16 in the People's Challenge. I have an outside chance to finish top 25. I just hope after catching a few hours of sleep and work that I don't lose too many ranks.

Looks like I should easily finish in the tier for which I was trying, as I'm about 850 now. I really wanted that epic manager and it would be nice to have the epic Lesnar in case I lose another early Legendary KotR and wind up with Brock as my reward. There's no way I could finish high enough to get in the top 400, and even then the novelty of the special Lesnar wouldn't really help me in the long run.

I managed to avoid losing a single game in this last KotR other than when I put my bench in for the last 8 games of the qualifying rounds. Yes, I was 9 games up before that. I think the People's Champion Challenge distracted a lot of people from KotR or I just got pretty lucky. Either way, I'll be getting my third Pro Legendary in an hour or 2. Anything but a diva would be an upgrade, but I'm hoping for something right-aligned (left-aligned would work great too, but I'd like to be able to make a pro legendary tag team ASAP).

Did they change some of the cards stats with the update? A few times now I've been beaten by an identical pro SR when mine were both maxed out before I combined. One example was a Super Rare Batista that had 301 CHA compare to my 295

That would likely be due to a manager card being used earlier. It lasts the entire round and doesn't show as yellow except for the turn on which it's used.

Hah, thanks. Yeah I have been fairly lucky with my Eddie Guerrero and HBK, both 6300+ stat cards.

I need that diva though, but I just know that once I start asking for one, I'll be getting them constantly.

I just don't want any yellow alligned cards anymore. They suck.


Edit: Bleh, Nikki Bella. Surely an upgrade over my Epic Cameron, but another Pro Legendary in my team is too heavy on the tier bar, and her stats are bad. Not sure if I will level her or feed her.

Yeah haven't failed to reach the Finals yet since entering Legendary tier.

Also this morning started at around 7000th in PCC. I'm just about to hit 1000th. It's gonna be a tight race to Top 400.

Top 400? I don't see much of a point. Epic Manager is much more useful than a single legendary Lesnar, even if it is limited edition.

A single Legendary Lesnar from People's Championship beats out Pro Epic cards so it's still very useful until you have a team of Pro Legendary.

Oh well. There's absolutely no way I could get up to top 400 anyway. I only have 2 pro legendaries, one of which is a diva. Jericho is very average too, so I have to get VERY lucky to win any +5 matches.

Woke up this morning and had 2x Super Rare Brock Lesnar cards in my deck along with my Super Rare Paige. It hurt taking my Rare Pro Paige out of my deck, just a little bit. However, when I level these two Lesnar cards and combine them....hooooly shit.

Lesnar is oddly a pretty poor card, unless that's from the ladder mode and his stats changed for those cards.

Rare pro page will be better than non-pro Super Rare Paige though.

Legendary KOTR folks: Does the common bench method work for y'all? I'm almost done farming in Epic (I currently have 4 Epic pairs ('Taker, Flair, Stone Cold, and Jericho) and will be starting a new tournament tonight (I *REALLLLLY* need a diva).

I figure with at least 5 Epic Pros, along with the common bench method, I can *hopefully* scratch my way to the finals, but I'm really, really scared to enter a Legendary tournament, especially since the bar immediately maxes out unlike the other tiers.

Hmm... Good to hear! Though I'm still concerned about my lack of a good diva card. I find it pretty darn preposterous I'm currently in the Legendary++ tier on exhibition and I haven't pulled a diva card higher than a Rare nor rewarded one in the 10+ KOTR finals I've been in. Yet I see a TON of epic/legendary divas in exhibition/KOTR. Where y'all getting your divas, man!

Holy crap those stats. Yeah I actually had a lot of fun with that tournament. I hope they do it again soon... assuming I can finally get a second male pro legendary. I'm sitting at second in my KotR right now. Once again, the one who's in first isn't the one I'm worried about. I would have easily beaten him if I had full stamina. The guy in third, though, was very evenly matched with me and beat me while I had full stamina despite the third match having the exact same cards (I'm guessing his move proc'd). If I can avoid him until the finals, I should be in good shape. As for that Legendary Lesnar, I'm actually glad that I didn't know how good his stats were so that I didn't go nuts trying to get in the top 400. There's no way my team could have pulled it off without suffering severe wrist cramps and losing a lot of sleep.

I laugh at all of these people I see who already combined their Super Rare Lesnar pairs and got a crappy card that starts out less than the Level 25 Super Rare Lesnar I'm working with. Level both cards and get yourself the beast incarnate you earned.

Yeah I knew that much, but even one card is better than a pro epic in terms of stats. It's essentially a tier above legendary, so it's legendary < pro epic < special legendary < pro legendary < pro special legendary.

Edit: Actually after adding up those stats, pro epic Rock and pro epic HBK are still slightly better than special legendary Lesnar. Still, it would have been a decent upgrade over what I'm using right now.

I appreciate the ladder rewards, but think Paige being more powerful than any other SR diva when maxed out is kind of cheap. I was rolling along pretty well with my maxed our SR Eva, and now that nearly everyone in my tier has a maxed our SR Paige pair, it's totally messed up the balance of my deck and cost me a ton of matches in the PCC (basically gimping my chances at any decent reward).

Totally understand them wanted to address the complaints about how hard it is to get a solid diva beyond the rare level, but I feel like they could have made her a bit more balanced.

Also, is it just me or did you use to be able to cancel your power-ups after selecting it during an exhibition match and now you cant?

Also also, can you get any of the ladder rewards cards from exhibition/KOTR? Part of me wants to just feed them to other cards but the collector in me wants to keep them in my deck if they're really one time only cards.

Nope, you can't unselect the use of power ups now. It's a known glitch post-update and it sucks.

I don't think you can get the ladder rewards any other way than the one-time gifts, but I still fed everything but the highest versions. They'll still show up in your catalog. Just make sure to combine them first so you'll register the pro versions.

The power-up issue is a bug that Catdaddy has acknowledged and should be fixed with the next update.

Edit: I don't recall if I asked this or not, but is there a good Android emulator for Mac I can download that will let me play this?

Looks like Andy is available for Mac aswell, it was pretty decent on Windows, you should try it.

Yeah I tried andyroid.net, but it says that the Mac and Linux versions are closed for alpha. Oh well. I've been getting a ton of network errors today. Anybody else having those issues?
