Gave it a couple of tries to test the mode. It's pretty much a grindfest, and when I went away for an hour I was already hundreds of points behind. As expected.
That and the fact that the servers cant handle the traffic. Completely ridiculous to make a 4 day event when you already know people hate your 48 hour KotR.

In just hoping to get that epic manager, which is apparently available in a lot of reward tiers. It works be nice to get the special legendaries too I guess but they won't exactly improve my lineup unless they offer those cards again.

Wow you guys are really far up. I'm only at 1,273 after playing a few hours. I'm not high enough to make an effective slumming team, though. I need at least one more pro legendary before I could do that, which hopefully I'll get today. With the brackets as they are now with one game to go before the qualifiers are over, I should be able to easily sweep my way into the finals, where I'll likely lose unless I get really lucky or the other guy doesn't care enough to use boosts.
Edit: Now I'm winning less than 10% of my matches, no matter what the tier. I really need a better team. Also, the "choose your best card at all times" strategy is terrible for me. I lose a LOT more that way.
Second Edit: Is there a good Android emulator out there on which I can play this game if I'm using a Mac?
Third Edit: It's pretty incredible... almost every single time I'm down to just Kane and Undertaker, it gives me a speed matchup. Like... at LEAST 85% of the time without exaggeration.
Fourth Edit: OK I take it back. It's actually 100% of the time. I'll adjust it if I ever see a scenario where it's just those 2 left and I get a matchup that ISN'T speed.

So I went past 6500 wins for the ladder rewards during one of my People's Champion matches and I never got the Ultra Rare Paige even though the box is checked off when I look at it on the rewards page.

Pretty much gave up on the People's Challenge. Each time I check the Ladder, someone else is up there. It's a non-stop contest. Would have been nice to have a best in slot card, but whatever. It's not worth the hours to me.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to really make a dent in the rankings unless you devote a TON of time to it. My problem is my deck is good (I have one Epic Pro and 4 UR pros) but not good enough to compete with a lot of the 3/5 pointers, so I end up losing all the time. Even if I go down a few tiers, my wins aren't consistent. But since the board gives energy, I just play the 1s because if I'm gonna grind for energy, may as well get points for it.
Side note: Have y'all noticed people not using energy as much in KOTR? Maybe it's just this tournament, but seems like people using energy less since they fixed the pick-saving exploit. At first I was really bummed when they "fixed" this, but if it means KOTR is less of a chore, then I'm all for it!

Edit: At least I'm back to the finals in my KotR. I REALLY hope I get a left or right card or a diva (preferably Cameron). I'll be getting rid of Kane either way, but it would be nice to be able to match my alignments and slum a bit in people's champ/exhibition.

Mine just showed up actually. Maybe try looking in your card collection again.
Edit: For the first time in as long as I've seen it, I did NOT get a speed matchup when all I had left was Kane and Undertaker... I got a Speed + Power matchup instead and of course lost to Booker T. Sigh...

Bah, I don't think I'll be able to fully boost again for these finals. I won the first match, but he's going to win this second one because I ran out of boosts. I normally have enough to fully boost 6 times throughout the tournament, but boosts just didn't want to pop up today.
You know that stacking picks method? Well do that method BEFORE you're about to lose. XD

I just hate to lose, honestly. I'll even quit out of the Smash Brothers 3DS demo if I'm about to lose because I don't want to see somebody else on the win screen. I've just had to deal with it in this game now, though.

Along with 6th and 7th. 1, 4, 5, and 8 are in the top bracket while 2,3,6, and 7 are in the bottom.

This game was fun for the first week or two that it was out. Now it's just boring with the way you get matched up against people who buy a bunch of cards, leading to an automatic loss no matter what. The game needs an option where you can play against only people who haven't bought cards if you haven't bought any (never going to happen) or a better deck level matching system. I shouldn't be constantly matched up against people who have team fulls of epics and legendaries and amazing pro UR cards when I'm sitting there with 1 pro UR, 1 Epic and pro SR's.

I've been getting a bunch of new SR pulls from the board since the last patch. Naomi, Sandow, Mysterio, Edge, Darren Young, Warrior, Brie, HHH, Jake Roberts. Too bad I'm at Epic++ now and those don't really help me for anything.
