Same. I've been complete overkill in Epic KoTR yet if I now entered with this team in Legendary tier, I'll probably get my ass kicked.

Diva: Epic Pro Brie Bella

I would probably have to rely on Brie Bella to carry the team for me assuming the other guys don't have Legendary Pro divas. XD

We need more and better ways to get Legendaries. PCC is just another and even more tedious grind fest.

I wouldn't complain too much, honestly. I've entered about 7 Legendary KOTRS and have only reached the finals twice (got divas for both rewards), so at least you have 3 male pros. Crappy male pros or not, at least those should allow you to get to the finals fairly consistently.

After losing one of the tournaments, I was lucky enough to get a single Ryback to make a pro (Ryback was my Legendary freebie) so I currently have the best diva card available (AJ) and the worst male pro (Ryback). And, like I stated earlier, my luck is pretty awful.

Having said that, it's looking like I'll easily get to the finals of the tournament I'm currently in, so I'll be happy with whatever I get. I think with 2 male pros and my pro AJ, I should (hopefully) get to the finals in most tournaments. So I'm OK getting some crappy pros if it means I can get to the finals more often.

tl;dr My luck is much shittier than yours. ;)

Bruno's a little better than middle of the road. He's not that bad at all, actually. I still use him alongside Hulk and Eddie. I don't think I'll be using the Miz I won last week, though. I'm wondering if/when I'll enter another KotR now. They're kind of a pain to micromanage these days and the odds of me improving my lineup aren't too high. All I can hope for at this point are The Rock or HBK.

why don't you enter just to win a card. Even if you don't make the knockout stages, if you are in Legendary you can get an epic card just to be able to quickly level up a better one.

Yeah I guess I've just held off because if I DO decide to try again, I'll just be upset that I have to wait in order to go again. I might start one tomorrow, though.

Nobody in the tournment has any Pro Legendaries and even the one person ahead of me I feel I can beat convincely in the playoffs. My two losses came from being inactive at one point and didnt restore energy, and the other was from that top guy desperate to win that he used all his boosts that game. XD

I didn't even think this was possible. Yay :D

Congrats!

It really does come down to luck of the draw. My second Legendary KOTR had 2 other guys with Leg Pros, thankfully I managed to get into the opposite side of the bracket and those 2 had to fight it out in the semi-finals.

Indeed. I don't expect to get that lucky again in the next one but I'll definitely won't complain here. XD
 
Almost to the bracket phase of my current KOTR, I just need a speed guy to go along with my Hogan, Cena, and Rock. So hoping for HBK, Eddie, or Mysterio. A diva would also be okay, considering Cameron's the worst Legendary diva now.

I hope the next PCC has Diamomd Divas. Hell, I hope the next Legendary Divas they release are Trish Stratus, Lita, Chyna, etc.

...or we're just gonna get Diamond Nikki Bella and Brie Bella. XD

Depends on who else you have. He's near the bottom of the tier compared to everyone else, but I used him as my 4th because I had Savage, Wyatt, and Ziggler as my other Epic pros at the time.

What a coincidence, I got Bruno from my last KOTR as well. Not nearly as useful for me aside from the tag direction, as he doesn't help with my speed deficiency.

My current KOTR is going to be a bit tougher, 2 other people running with 3 Leg Pros.

Just noticed the preview for it is up. Why the fuck does Ambrose's Legendary card have "Rope Rebound Clothesline"? Why not Dirty Deeds? WTF? Has he used this as a finisher?
 
Is there any point doing the PCC unless you finish in the level bracket to get the double legendaries? Cause the single cards will still lose to pro legendaries

Yeah they'll probably revise it later whenever they do another pass at all the cards. That might not be for a while, though. So I decided to just start a KotR without really paying attention at all to it so that I could get a free Epic. Of course, now I'm here in the first round against the #1 seed and just won the first match 3-0. I kind of feel bad for the guy.
 
Man, I was really hoping the PCC would draw me back into the game, but the repeat cards kind of hampered it this time. Biggest offender is having UR diva cards consuming so much of the mid-tier prizes (especially since we just had that same UR Paige). A spiffed up UR Cesaro or Ziggler would have been a fun addition here (though I suppose it would be a Smackdown spoiler).

As it stands, there is nothing worthwhile for me unless I get into the top 2500. Given that I can pull those epic pairs from a KOTR, that's not much incentive to try and go toe to toe with the folks who will be grinding away on this all weekend.

Shame too, because I was really hoping this would be good motivation to grind my RVD card into shape.

Same here, the only thing that would really help my deck are the legendary support cards. Which isn't as big of a deal to me anymore now that I ended up getting one in Exhibition somehow last week.
 
This game is so stupid sometimes. It's annoying as shit

I got knocked out in the semis because it played my Lesnar in a speed/charisma match then my Jericho in a power toughness match. Worst thing is after the first match, I swapped them around then it did the exact same thing AGAIN.

I mean what the fuck?
 
I feel bad because I didn't even try this past KotR but still ended up winning. I guess this makes up for the time where the game stupidly used the wrong matchup every time and then gave me a single Legendary Kane. We'll see what I get as a reward in about 20 minutes.

Edit: And of course, I got Randy Orton. Oh well. At least it's another guy I don't have in my catalog.
 
Just finished my 2nd Legendary KoTR and...I got my favorite wrestler of all time...

Legendary STONE COLD PAIR! NOW THAT IS A GOOD WAKE UP CALL! YEAAAAAAAH! :D
 
I emailed support took a while to get me the progress back, got it back so no starting over for me.

Is it worth my time to train the same card to max level and to combine as a pro?

Always train cards to max before combining. The stat difference is significant.

Currently 169. Top 5 is freaking impossible and gave up a couple of days ago. I tried and tried but unless you pay credits and keep buying title cards as well as win every +5 game without break, good luck getting to top 5.

The closest I got to was 9. I just...I couldn't do it. I tired and I just couldn't do it. I hate this damn event. -_-

It's not impossible but yes you do have to buy title matches. I'm actually the number 4 guy right now. After this, I'm done with the game. No way my schedule will allow me to even attempt top 5 again.

I know when Mokai decides to start playing again, he will pass me for sure. It's that Johnthan dude that I can't understand. He blows out everyone points wise. I should clarify that I meant that I will never go for a Top 5 spot again in PCC. It's just getting harder and harder as more events happen. It's not like I have somebody playing for me.

As for the card trading, the MyNBA2K app will be getting auction house which I guess players can put up their cards for sale and buy off other players(don't quote me on that).

I don't think I'm giving away my account anytime soon. Doesn't hurt to ask :)

Yeah I swear there is something suspicious about that Johnthan account. Mokai I'm pretty sure is just a really dedicated player. Johnthan however...I mean I'm not saying he's a hacker or anything buuuuuuuut, 2K are not exactly the best devs that crack down on those sort of things you know? Didn't they let that guy who cheated to win one million in MLB 2K keep his money? Just saying. XD

How much sleep did you get for this event since you're top 5? And how many credits did you spend to get there?

Yeah I saw that too. Funny enough, that NBA2K app has more features than the Supercard one. I really hope for an auction on Supercard as well. Hell, 2K app even has a way of earning you credits everyday (not much obviously but at least you can some)! Supercard, you have to pay for them. :(

Yeah thought I would just give it a shot. XD Although I feel a bond with my account. It would feel wrong to abandon it lol.

For the first three days, this person was gaining points extremely quickly at all times of the day. I don't know about any hacks or anything like that but must have a deck that can win 95% of the time. My win rate on 5 point matches is like 80-85% at best.

About 12-14 hours total. Most of that was on Saturday where I slept 5 hours plus had work as well. Since that point, it has been 2 hour naps or 20 minute naps here and there. Not fun at all but I have been able to catch up on tv shows and a few movies.

I play the 2K app here and there because I play NBA 2k15 and the free VC is great. The free credits doesn't hurt too and I feel the game is more balanced in terms of rewards. Pro cards matter a ton more since the KotR equivalent doesn't' hand out pairs for getting 1st and 2nd. Being able to enhance cards adds another layer of strategy too.

Spent $180 via Amazon Coins. They were also doing a kickback so I was getting 1500 Amazon Coins when I purchased the $50 option in-game.

What kind of team are you using for 5 point matches? I just got my third Legendary pro (Edge...ugh) and have been trying to use this team:

Rare Yokozuna
Common Jey
Legend Pro Stone Cold
Legend Pro Bruno Sammartino
Common AJ Lee

I don't have a legend pro diva so that's probably the problem but my team has been inconsistent at best with +5 matches. Are you using a similar strat?

Maxed out PP Legendary Eddie Guerrero, Level 20 PP Legendary Shawn Michaels, Rare Natalya, Uncommon Bo Dallas and Uncommon John Cena. Almost Legendary + on the bar and I face mostly Epics and shitty Legendary cards.

In 2k15, each card has 1-4 slots where you can add gem cards to boost one stat. The enhancement cards has different rarity tier but haven't play enough to know how far it goes. 1st place for Season is a higher tier card than the current tier and one current tier card. 2nd place is two different cards from the same tier.

I have to get back to serious grinding, there is a guy that is trying to go for 5th place right now. Can't let up until I know it's impossible for me to drop below 5th.
