Couldn't agree more. They just need to let him run with what's already there. Let him become a super heel and really taunt the crowd. Make fun of people in the front row. Get the name of the city wrong. All that classic stuff. The fans would go nuts over it and it would feel completely natural.

I usually watch the stream on USA or whatever in the background while I do something else. The matches on RAW are things I tune out the vast majority of the time because so many of them are just nothing matches with jobbers.

I checked in for MITB because I love ladder matches. Shield stuff bores me, it's not just Roman. Woman's title scene is roughly the same. Undercard in WWE has been great for awhile with AJ, Cena, Rusev, Cesaro, KO, Sami, Miz, New Day, maybe even Jericho. There's a lot to like but the top to bottom show is still a drag to sit through.

I haven't watched a full raw since mania. that show completely turned me off of wwe. just pure shit.

I keep up on wrestling by reading the wrasslegaf thread and listening to the odd podcast here and there. i'm done wasting my monday nights unless some drastic changes take place.

That's kind of unfortunate, because the shows after mania have actually been pretty decent. Hell, the Raw after mania essentially reversed everything that happened that night.

I would. It's plain to hear the boos even with the muting. There hasn't been a single Reigns match that has got me pumped. It's Vince's weird fetish for muscley tall guys again.

They use workout supplements because being on the road 300 days a year beats up their bodies. If Roman was using PEDs I doubt it was because he wanted to get bigger.

Don't know what he got busted for, it could be a bunch of different things, including something entirely legal. There's no point in speculating.

A lot of people saw the Reigns shit coming well before their split, at least as far back as 2013 WWE made it painfully obvious that he was Vince's guy, that 2014 Rumble where they had him break Kane's record as the commentary blew him should've been a red flag for everyone who didn't. The rest were just slower to catch on and he got completely exposed right after the Shield broke up. People were pissed about Bryan not being in it and cheering for Reigns and others against Batista, it wasn't just Reigns they cheered for, Rey though was a sacrifical lamb by coming out 30. But Reigns was still something new at the time and he wasn't the established guy when everyone knew Batista came back and was going to win before he even showed up on TV.

Again, that Steiner story was from before WWE enacted the "Wellness Policy". But yeah, certain aspects of the policy are a joke, including the "Orton Rule" they added because they didn't want to fire him.

From most interviews I've seen of him outside the WWE his inner asshole wouldn't be too hard for him to embrace because the dude comes off as kind of a dick.

Glenn Jacobs to portray Fake Roman Reigns

Of all the characters Glenn Jacobs has portrayed during his long WWE tenure — Kane, Isaac Yankem DDS, Fake Diesel, El Torito — none will be as divisive among fans as his new role, Fake Roman Reigns.

Jacobs reportedly signed a 30-day contract with the company this morning to portray Fake Reigns, filling the spot vacated by the real Reigns, who was suspended for unexpectedly grabbing Titus O’Neil.

It is believed that Jacobs, in the Reigns role, will pick up exactly where his predecessor left off, feuding with his former Shield brethren and being unanimously disliked by jaded adult males.

Jacobs is expected to appear next week on Monday on Raw, using a slightly modified version of Reigns’ catch-phrase: “I’m not a good guy, I’m not a bad guy. I’m not even this guy. But I am a guy.”

They should build up the RAW after Roman's suspension as THE apology....he comes out acting contrite and wanting to apologize...only to just shit all over the fans and blame them for it and everything else. He's gonna get heat no matter what, turn it into a positive, and start a monster heel run.

Now is the time Vince....
