4Sure was kinda meh. Didn't dig the MC non-singer, the chorus was oversung, and the guys just seem annoying overall. I would've preferred to hear Elaine Gibbs's (53 damn, black don't crack!) full audition.

By the way, I hope Steve Jones never takes to untucking those tight shirts. Guy has about as much charisma as a a baked potato, but those pecs.

...I'm really not understanding the judging when it comes to groups.

They've said yes to some very questionable groups (4Sure was awful and NOT harmonizing)...but flat out turned down some groups that seemed to be carrying some decent notes for from the moments they showed us.

The girl IS tone deaf, though. But she definitely has some potential. But can she actually grow "vocally"? I've been watching American Idol for a long time and the same vocal problems follow people throughout the entire audition process.

For once, I actually agree 100% with Nicole.

She really shouldn't have sung a capella. She was switching keys a lot, as well as her tempo...and she was trying to mask that by punching every word. Having a backing track would have really helped reign that in.

I would have said no, too.

Someone with vocal trouble DEFINITELY shouldn't be singing "Impossible" a capella. I mean damn...that song takes some great vocal prowess (and some auto tuning) if you aren't already pitch perfect
