Dat logic. "I can't play my Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One so I'll switch to PS4 where I won't be able to play my Xbox 360 games."

Although I agree, it would be a game changer were Microsoft ever to come up with a way of doing it.

There is literally nothing different between a physical and digital copy of a game. They just can't "patch in" backwards compatibility. So what you're asking for is an Xbone with 360 hardware BC, which would raise the price of the console considerably.

Yeah, good luck with that.

Has someone tweeted this thread link back to Ed Fries? I don't support trolling often but this is so funny it has to happen. I don't know how Fries said this with a straight face, it's complete hyperbole when you look at the data.

To be fair, I don't think anyone would mind if XB1 fans say "XB1 has the better games" and then explained how they liked Halo and Gears. That's a subjective opinion a person might actually have. The thing is when people trying to defend the XB1 say "PS4 has no games" which is objectively wrong since the PS4 not only has tons of games, but more games compared to XB1.

Even I will freely admit that it is PS4's exclusives that are selling me on the system... Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd, Persona 5, and Ys 8 are what's selling the system over the XB1 to me.

He is free to speculate as much as anyone about this topic.

But you could ask Kyle Orland from ArsTechnica to investigate the likelihood of that speculation to become reality.
