Excited to see how many items you can pin to the home screen. I have the feeling they are only giving up one square and are just making it a favorites list. It'll be nice to have HBO, Netflix, and my most played games embedded right on the first screen I suppose.

I doubt it. Already though you can use the Xbox Live app on the iPad to control some things and bring up the quickplay menu.

Also I'm under the impression Smartglass isn't an app so much as an underlying feature across the dashboard and supported apps/games.

It only works offline, anyone that got a beta disc got emailed a Games on Demand code for Halo: Reach because the disc no longer worked with the Halo: Reach Title Update.

From what they showed at E3, it looks like pinned items will just be added to a folder on the home screen, like the quick play list.

I think the being able to customize and pin stuff to your home screen would be neat.

If they became live tiles would be even neater. Like your pins show which friends are playing that game, or if there are updates or something like that. I am not very imaginative haha.

Why wouldn't it work offline? The newest Halo Reach patch killed online matchmaking for the preview version, which is why they gave us Games on Demand codes a while ago
