Marketplace has stopped doing that neat thing where it highlighted Indies before scrolling back, though.
Commander - World 01 is a tower defence game. If those two words haven't turned you off, then you need this game. Y'see, it's tower defence like I haven't played before. It looks brilliant, and the choice of music is just utter genius. It's all classical, and when you feel like you're in some massive space war and you're listening to classical music, my God, the atmosphere is just immense. It'd be worth a dollar ($60) for that alone. But the gameplay is great too, and really turns tower defence on its head, in a way.
Normally there are two ways TD works. Enemies come on a set path, or you build towers to direct them places. Here, they start on a path that constantly evolves. The path orbits around different planets, and as the planets move, so does the path. Then, it gets better. You can add gravitational turrets to planets that don't have them, and then the path has to orbit around them too, so you can send it all over the place.
Aside from that, it's tower defence as standard, pretty much. But that's MORE than enough to make this game awesome. It's really funny as well. The loading screens, certainly, but also, when I died I saw this message:
Buy it.
Buy some of these, too.
Whakman is a 2D platformer that looks, sounds, and plays really well. You have to roll through levels collecting coins, is all, but you get better awards based on whether or not you die, so there's scope for replayability. I like it.
Wiwi's Adventures 2 has a name you can't make fun of because the world ran out of Wii jokes in 2006. It's a 2D platformer and it's mentally fast, that being the first thing that sticks out. When you've been playing for a few minutes you don't notice it though, and it's really ace. It looks a bit messy, but it sounds really good, and it plays like ye olde platformers. 100 diamonds for an extra life. Get in. Level design is great as well, with hidden areas and multiple routes and stuff. Really enjoyed it.
Angle of Attack is a twin stick with a large turning circle which makes control a bit more awkward than you're used to, not that that's a bad thing. What's bad is that it's so slow and boring and if it picks up tremendously later, good, but I won't be buying it based on the gameplay in the trial. It says there's strategy but there's not, really, it's just a twin-stick with a gimmick. You have to spend points on "construction nodes" to unlock the exit to the level. It doesn't really affect what you're doing.
Avatar's Rock is not about an avatar which is rock, or a rock that belongs to an avatar. It gives you the set from Blur's Song 2 video and you just strum on your game controller to make music and stuff. Quite nicely done in a way, but it feels pointless, I don't feel responsible for the noise I'm hearing. Also, can't forgive poor apostrophe use in one of the game's most important bits.
Krazy Alienz is Space Invaders with Heal Slimes. It doesn't even try to do owt differently.

Are you sure you want to retry? I mean, I saw you play and it's kind of hopeless.
