The diffucult part would be keeping your old name then getting a new name. If the card you used to sign up is still good, it will automatically renew. If it's no good, then you have to remember the last 4 digits to keep your old account name when you renew.

i got a question too.

my 2 month free subscription ends next week. i have 2 other free ones that came with other games. i also have the year subscription that comes in the box with the head set.

can i use the other 2 free ones before using the year one i paid for?

I have another question. If your XBOX dies (ie dirty disc errors) and you have Xbox live can you tranfer your account to another XBOX?

Yes, just do the account recovery thing and you should be fine

God knows why but I made it so I need to enter a four button "password" every time I sign on to Live. HOW DO I DISABLE IT? I'M TIRED OF HITTING DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN WHEN I WANT TO MURDERIZE IN HALO 2.

I hear ya, running KOTOR II on my Xbox (bought when it was first released) causes all kinds of hell. Select an answer to respond to someone? 5 minutes of loading. Go to save my game? A billion minutes.

Another few hours of me playing my Xbox with KOTOR II and the tray is going to pop open and eject the game into my skull.
