At this point, i'm pretty sure there's some licensing problem or something like that because Ninja Gaiden 2 is requested, a lot, and it would have already been BC.

Could it be the fact that there's no digital version of Ninja Gaiden 2 ?

There's still hope for more BC goodness. Mark of The Ninja, Burnout Revenge, Outrun, Blur...

This actually makes me wonder if Koei Tecmo is interested in Xbox One backwards compatibility at all. No Dead or Alive games. No Ninja Gaiden games. No Dynasty Warriors games. Nothing! Do they have something against this? It's not like they're re-releasing these games or anything.

Yeah we've discussed this a few times, it's increasingly safe to assume Koei Tecmo games aren't happening until we get a sign otherwise. Especially bizarre as they have given the Xbox One pretty good support. The Koei Tecmo thing and wth is going on with Crackdown 1 and 2 and Fable Anniversary are the biggest BC mysteries right now, everything else about the program is ticking over nicely.

In the meantime put your arms up in the air and give your energy to the Tales of Vesperia genkidama instead please.

Interesting takeaway from that Thank You note from the team posted in the ending of the last thread was that they're "waiting on Tecmo to give them NGII"

My guess is that it's working BC wise, Tecmo Koei just doesn't want to do it

They are not. Supposedly there is something different about those discs (since they were simultaneously Xbox Original and Xbox 360 game disc on one). Bill Stillwell mentioned it once in an interview.

My guess for today is Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Revengeance, and Zone of the Enders HD Collection because I just got a used 360 to play them. I'm going to will them into existence one way or the other!!!

I'd honestly given up hope seeing SVC: TJ&E, given that the other collections have been BC for a while now, and I thought that the rights had reverted back to TJ&E's co-creator, Greg Johnson, for Back in the Groove, so this is a wonderful surprise!

Is Epic Mickey 2 worth picking up? I haven't played either of them before.

I own Epic Mickey 2, not great but OK. I've not played the first one. Happy +1 game I own is now on xb1 which is my bare minimum of satisfaction of releases.
