Xbox One Backwards Compatible lOT2l: Who would want to play these games?

I said MS store but it was actually xbox.com. I searched for it again last night and it gave me a prompt to install and it did this time.

The game is two discs, so it was never sold digitally. Have to wait until it's made available, which should be soon going by previous cases of two disc games.

What a lame show. The fact that the Valve games got X enhanced should've been clear enough that we weren't going to be getting much for XO18. Last four shows have all dissapointed for BC, I'm really thinking they don't give a shit anymore.

They're adding at least 2 extra titles to the BC catalogue every single week so it's not fair to to the say they are don't give a shit.

Unless you're talking about either OG Xbox support where they said they'd be a second wave of games towards the end this year.

Or X enhanced support... Which I'd LOVE to see more of but still consider a bonus.

I had XIII for the PS3 but never finished it. I had been meaning to loop back around, but with this news, I'll just buy it with the X enhanced support and maybe check out the sequels. I always seemed to burn out as soon as the game opened up and became more open world.

I disagree. Although the total quantity of games of the previous years were higher (games every Tuesdays and Thursdays), most games were Xbox Live arcade games. This year they have consistently released major AAA games for BC.

I only wish they would announce when the next OG Xbox batch will come out. I hope they announce 20 or so at once when they do it.

Fine I'll reign back on the doom and gloom, the 360 keeps growing and the state of releases shows that it is no longer technology thats holding games back but purely the legal aspects of them I still think that their handling of X enhanced and OG XBOX titles has so far been really mediocre. I really don't see how they will announce anymore this year.

With Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy announced for backwards compatibility and Xbox One X enhancement, I remembered how people wanted it to be PS3 exclusive when it was announced

I might try those since the PC port never properly worked even when I got the durante tool applied to it.

Well I never liked the XIII-2 or XIII-3 parts but the original entry was good in my opinion. Not overwhelming but far better that FF XV.
Can't disagree more. The first FF XIII is the worst of the three, and I loved FF XV.

And also x-enhanced. What res will it be than, as the original did run at sub 720p 4k is just not possible.

I'm sure we'll see a Digital Foundry analysis when the update drops, but I'm also curious how well these will run with their X enhancements. A half-decent PC can run these games at 4K so I'm excited to see what the X can do.

I played FFXIII earlier this year on my 360 and it looked surprisingly good on my 4K TV. Can't wait to see how it will look now.

FF XIII-2 and Lightning's Return can be bought but not FF XIII and Lord of Shadow 1, w0t you doin' M$? >.>

On amazon the 360's Ace Combat 6 (it says "download code") is being given as a preorder bonus towards Ace Combat 7. AC6 isnt officially backwards compatible yet, nor has it ever been offered digitally so it seems this is great news that will follow many other preorder bonuses of other games. AC6 will be BC around AC7's launch.

So much for a remaster. I liked the games despite people hating on it. XIII-2 was my favorite. Lightning Returns I just couldn't get into.

Thanks for that. Is this version of the game good? I played on the PS3 when it was released.

And, does the Xbox One X have any improvements?

I think it is X Enhanced, so it'll run at 4k or close, except the prerendered CGs. We will know tomorrow when the game starts working on the XB1.
