And only specific games are able to get the enhanced treatment. It all comes down to how the game was initially coded. That's not how it works. They need the "ok" from Konami to do so.
4 is a native gameWe need some more X-enchanced BC releases:

It would be so cool I loved that game!I need Dead or Alive 4 in glorious 4K right in to my veins, please MS.
I don't think that actually matters. Microsoft doesnt even touch the source code for the game when they do it.And only specific games are able to get the enhanced treatment. It all comes down to how the game was initially coded.
According to Digital Foundry it does matter. They discussed it in one of their BC analysis videos.I don't think that actually matters. Microsoft doesnt even touch the source code for the game when they do it.
Red Dead 1's code was a huge mess yet MS was still able to o that.
Sorry, I meant Judgement. We need some more X-enchanced BC releases:
Fallout New Vegas
Gears of War 1 and 4
Star Wars Force Unleashed 2
Just Cause 1 and 2
Castlevania - Lords of Shadow 1 and 2

Noone knows ... but probably ... we hope. So, I have been wandering, wont there be any any new OG Xbox backwards compatibility batch in Fall?
Still no MagnaCarta 2. I know its a niche game, but I still want to replay it!
Does it allow you to start it? If it doesn't, the exact same thing happened with AvP and that didn't go BC until over a month later.Just had The Bureau: XCOM Declassified randomly appear under my Ready to Install as now being BC!
Anyone else?
I can't find anything about it going BC, and it's not the usual drop time either.
Hopefully it'll drop soon. This was one of the few 360 games I could never get into because the performance was so abysmal.Just had The Bureau: XCOM Declassified randomly appear under my Ready to Install as now being BC!

Ah, I didn't know AvP had previously snuck out early!
Just tried booting it up, and it goes to the splash screen, then "This game may not be playable yet".
Hopefully it's not too long, maybe it could even be this Tuesday.
It is available since last week.
Already can confirm that Darkness has very stable and smooth framerate on XOne X.All those games had terrible framerate issues, can't wait to see how they run.
Waiting for it each Tuesday, man.Still waiting for that NEW VEGAS Enhance........
