Appear as offline should work, no?Is there a way to turn off notifications during the video app yet
Anyone having issues with Live today? Turned on my xbox.. it signed my account in like it should post account but I have no pins.. no store and no friends showing. Seems on their end.
1406 dashboard day 2, problems so far:
- Double games in the "My games & Apps section". CoD: Ghosts appears twice in my list, this wasn't the case before the update.
- With auto sign-in enabled, games still ask you to log-in. This was/is also the case when manually signing-in without Kinect, has been since launch. Disappointed that that is still not fixed, especially since it's now a feature of the OS.
Nope 8Gb is the max at the moment for SSHD's.
Yeah, that's been there for a couple of months (for me)Anyone have any issues where if you downloaded a demo and uninstall it still says ready to install?

Yes, I have Zoo Tycoon demo sitting there next to my games.
I think it a feature though!
I got my update today so maybe the next wave of people have been sent the update.

Power cycled multiple times. The first boot after the update was installed caused some UI glitches like a mysterious fourth tab appearing on the dashboard and the store still having the old layout.I only had disc-based games in Games and Apps. All my digital shit was missing. Also, auto-sign in wasn't working for me at all. Hard reboot after the initial update boot fixed both issues.
Even when you manually check? Settings > System > update?Still no update here...
So one small bug I have seen but it appears I can not move Skylanders Swap Force to the external HDD... anyone else have this game and can test it? Only game so far that simply does not offer me the option to move it.
What happens if you delete it? Does it appear under Ready to Install?Hey it looks like content without a disc is now manageable. I have the Watch Dogs free weapon showing up.
I don't own the game, but if I had to hazard a guess, does the portal also require USB? Maybe there's an issue with games that run off external storage but still need access to a port, even though there's more on the back?

How the hell your turn on auto log-in? I can't figure it out.

Picked up a USB 3.0 Seagate 2TB 7200 RPM (AC powered) drive today.
It's really quiet, about the same as the Xbox One. The aesthetics match the Xbox perfectly though so you can just put it on top of the console. The power thingy is shitty I know, but you'll get the fastest results with a powered one. How's the noise on this thing? That and it having to be powered externally are my two biggest considerations when considering a drive.
Edit: Shit, sorry for the double post. Meant to edit the above one!
Picked up a USB 3.0 Seagate 2TB 7200 RPM (AC powered) drive today. Installation was quick and easy and started moving some stuff over and comparing loading times between the internal and external. Results I've done today are below:
Assassins Creed IV Black Flag (digital):
Booting to title screen:
Internal 34.8 seconds
External 32.9 seconds
I didn't skip any splash screens to avoid any differences in testing internal and external, but I'll give it a try later. Is yours digital or disc version?this caught my eye, so I tested too.
mind you, only for the external as I already have moved this game without timing it in internal.
the thing is, my drive I think is not 7200rpm, but only 5400rpm. (wd mybook 2tb)
yet, I timed 4 times the "boot to title screen" , and I always get below 30 seconds to "press A" (~26,~27 secs)
but here's the interesting thing: most of the splash screens are skippable, and if I skip them I end up at the same spot (press A prompt) always before 20seconds (16-18secs)
can you double check, and try pressing the A button on the first couple of splash screens too?
Thanks for doing this. You guys are a big helpI didn't skip any splash screens to avoid any differences in testing internal and external, but I'll give it a try later. Is yours digital or disc version?
