I really dislike the way they translated it, it's silly and ugly.
You should get it on the PS4.

Actually I was reading the article by Gameblog, and I think the worst part is the recording command : "Xbox - Enregistrer cet élément"
I mean WTF ? Who talks like that ? Why not "Xbox, enregistre ça", it shouldn't be harder to recognize than "record that !".

Still don't believe it to be honest and just hope that he is confused. It would render Kinect unusable if you set your system language to anything other than a language supported by your region. So if my region is Germany (only German is supported) and my system language is English it will show me English descriptions on screen and expects me to guess what the stuff is in German so I can then say it in German?
I somehow doubt that very much.

Edit: It's says gear though including a backpack, now I kinda want to go even though i'm not buying anything there haha.

Yeah, I guess I'll just have to wait until the day of. I'll probably call up Best Buy and Gamestop at 4pm and see what each of them say, then determine where I line up for for 8 hours.
God, I really hate that I don't have a pre-order. PS4 launch was so smooth. Wish it didn't take me so long to fall in love with the Xbox One.

I'll tell you what I tell everyone else when it comes to preorders: when in doubt, Amazon.
Seriously, they don't charge until it ships. Really hard to go wrong on preordering the second something is announced when you won't be charged.

Oh I know. I did my PS4 through Amazon, and have been using Amazon for 4 years now. There really was no reason to not pre-order the Xbox One and wait until later to cancel. But I was so sure of myself that I wouldn't like the Xbox One that I didn't bother.
What a foolish decision that was.
Line up early fir GS midnight release. Call your local store they should have some, not too sure about day 1 though or check walmart
Quoting this again because I just saw the thread on GAF here about it. Holy shit. I can't even set my system to English because it will then not offer me Germany as my region setting.
God damn, that right there is a deal breaker so close to launch. Because I can just imagine that games will still rely on your system language setting, which means I would have to play my games in German.

1-Microsoft went out of it's way to ensure kinect is not necessary but what I understand is that it vital for a smooth experience. Like recognizing your face and logging you in automatically.
2-If I know correctly, Day One editions are 98-99% sold out. I myself haven't found one anywhere and even regular ones are all sold out on Gamestop.
Anything is possible, make a few calls and think positive.
Yeah but you can't buy anything unless you have a valid UK credit card or an UK PayPal account.

So I have no idea what time to goto the microsoft store on thursday. Mine is in the mall, so they have to close at 9PM and reopen at 10PM for the launch. I've also never been to a launch for a console so any suggestions? I asked the MS guys and they had no clue what to tell me.
I have no classes on thursday/friday, and would like to be one of the first to leave with my console..any suggestions are welcome.
