That announcer dude for Killer Instinct gets me pumped every time I hear him talk. I'd like to see a documentary with just him shouting everything.
I bet getting my ass kicked online will change my tone, but since this game is f2p on console launch, i'm willing to bet there will be a lot of fresh meat online
I love it too. So many memories of the original! Chills down the spine ... usually of me getting my ass kicked.

I would personally pick Dead Rising 3 and KI because I don't really like Racing games that much. But it's up to you.

Mine is in transit. So excited!
Dead Rising looks more fun and has a greater variety of gameplay on offer, so I'd personally go for that.

I may be right there with you.
I will get it tomorrow night, but I have a 3 week old and a super stressed mom at my house. We also have a serious illness in the family which may not end well and without an idea as to when of course.
All part of the reason I chose one system over the other for the next month or two.
Stay strong! Live though others until we can get to play

this girl is a cod player? it seems so to me...
anyway, she installed cod and could start playing from 40%..
voice recognition seemed to work well for her, even if she didnt want to.
her first things as she booted cod, was go fix the sensitivity and the rumble.
then she wandered around an arena a bit, an she said how much better it looked.
then, after maybe five minutes, she went "my xboner"

Kind of. As long as it's delivered by tomorrow night, I'll have at least Friday to toy around with it. Then the in-laws are in town for my lady's birthday weekend, so I expect not to get to play until Sunday evening. :/
Polygon, Gamestop, IGN all had problems with voice control on stream and in uncut prerecorded footage. Even after implying it worked good in the review.
YMMV on if it works or not. That is what it seems. Also, how close are you to the system?

I was about a metre away because I needed to whisper.
But I don't talk to technology naturally like IGN tried to. I talk slowly and pause when needed. So it all worked as it should for me.

Well that is the biggest problem with the voice controls on this thing. As a current daily user of google now and siri I'll be interested to see how well natural language processing works. MS should have gotten it right. The research and advancement in this area has come along way since kinect 1. Maybe they can fix this with software.

Um... Microsoft has been saying you can do this for a while.
You can pretty much connect anywhere you can get a internet connection and update.
The Google app on iOS is amazing. If Kinect 2 can get to that level of be ecstatic.

It seemed like Nilay Patel just wasn't talking to the Xbox right (he kept saying Xbox and stopping instead of just saying the whole command). David Pierce was having no problems with it.
Works all the time for me.
Apple has at least gotten fluid processing for commands.

They all seem to work. I use it all the time to set my alarm, calendar dates, and cooking timers. Its much easier than digging into ui elements.
Work is going by so slow. Luckily ill be off by 2:30 and be able to get some rest before finalizing my receipt at GameStop then the waiting game really starts.
Still undecided on ryse, I wanna get it after all the videos I watched but if I'll get sick of it real quick night just gamefly it. Decision decisions.

couldn't agree more. Haven't tried a game yet but so far I'm very impressed. Also the cold boot took so long I had flashbacks to my dead out of the box launch 360. Lol. I was about to freak out.
This is what needs to change. They need to be less rigid with commands.
