i love the xbox one, but who on their right mind wanted to implement install disc's first. its been 1 hr 30 mins on dead rising 3 and its still on 1% after i downloaded the update.
Sounds a bit buggy, took me no more than 30 mins.

Sometimes I have to press the home button a few times to register it.
Do you have a slow internet connection? Unplug and you should be able to play faster.
my speed is 15 down and 2 up, unplug what :/

i hope not
gary witta fix'd this up for printersFound this on reddit a little bit ago and figured (if it hasn't already been thrown up here somewhere) some of ya'll might find this helpful.
I feel like the only appealing games for the XB1 are the ones that are free (i.e. Killer Instinct, Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason).
Someone tell me you also share the same opinion.
I really don't know what disk-available game to buy.
I'm not into Forza because I drive 3-4 hours a day for work.
Never got into Dead Rising.
Ryse looks great, but I don't know about the gameplay.
Call of Doges. Enough said.
I don't play EA Sports or games.

Dead Rising is a ton of fun, if you have an X1 I'd say it's worth it to give it a try. Assassins Creed is also fun. Other than that I don't think there are any other games out that you haven't mentioned already.
Whoa. It didn't take me that long. I think it was like 25-30 minutes for me.

yeah it was taking me a while, but now its going a little faster
What happened to that app with the player counts for each game that was shown by the guy who got his console early from Target?
I still haven't opened my XB1 yet.
Alright dudes and dudettes, I got 60 bucks to spare. Which one should I get, Ryse, DR3, or ACIV?
OK LocoCycle is awesome. Leave LocoCycle alone!
DR3!!! (For $49 at Walmart or Amazon) and then with the remaining $10 get some credit so you can get Peggle 2 in December

Remember when the guy who got the system two weeks early posted a screenshot of a screen that showed how many players where in each game? Has anyone found where that is? I am thinking it must be a developer feature that wasn't meant to be seen.
I haven't opened mine yet either. I was on the fence about getting a PS4 but I got one. I like it so much that I am a bit torn between keeping the XO.
I also have a Wii U and a 3DS so I am playing Mario 3D World and the new Legend of Zelda. On top of that, I have Tearaway waiting on me. I just don't. I know that I am going to have an XO pretty soon, so why am I hesitating? It's not a money thing and my wife is on the verge of taking the receipt from me. She's been scolding me about taking the dam thing out of the box or she will a hide it so I cannot take it back.
I can tell you that if you plan on getting one soon, just keep it. I am not going to use the TV functions on the system, as I don't watch TV, but I think it's a good package.
Get Ryse. Beautiful game, good fun. End of story.

Tip for people who miss seeing friend activity by hitting Xbox Guide Button:
Say, "Xbox Snap Activity"....
Not a complete solution but the info it gives you is similar obviously.
Really? I've got $44 space bucks and was considering NFS or the Golf game, but if Ryse is worth it, I might have to go for it. Wish they all had demos to play.
Finished all the tutorials and the first two challenges on Zoo Tycoon. Really awesome game. I was expecting a lot, but it's even better than I hoped.
Can't say anything for Need for Speed except that loads of people I have read talk about it as loving it.
I have got both Ryse and Powerstar Golf though. Loving Ryse, I think its great, 28% through the story trying not to rush it, really like but played co-op mode with a friend for like 3/4 hours over the last two day.
Powerstar Golf is good as well, surprising amount of depth, got a Fifa Ultimate Team style thing with boosters, perks, abilities etc, seems to have a decent amount of courses too.
Great to hear this, not actually heard a bad thing said about it. Getting it Tuesday.
Cool, thanks. Is there matchmaking for the coop stuff? I don't have any friends who are picking this up, but would definitely like to play some coop.
