It does. Honestly, I wouldnt read much into what people are saying in this thread. I kept hearing how bad the ONE controller was, picked it up finally and my first thought was "wow people dont know what a good controller is anymore or they got wayy too attached to the 360 controller"

It will all depend on your hand size etc. which controller feels best, but with large hands, the small one controller still felt fine.

My only negative I have with almost every controller is the top bumpers are always hard to hit w/o moving your hand a lot, and the ps4 controller finally fixed that where the ONE still felt as "bad" as the rest of em

I actually like that Day One 2013 imprint on the controller. I wonder how it's put on there and if it will wear off after time. Hope not since it seems like a great touch for early adopters.

I love it man, I occasionally just see it laying on the counter waiting for November 22, and just grab the thing and pretend to be playing a game for a few minutes. It just feels so nice. Grips are perfect, feel premium. Like the grips you'd find on an expensive third party controller used for tournaments. Angular handles make it fit perfectly in your hit, feels so natural. The rounded triggers make it feel more natural to put your fingers there, and pull the trigger, and if you pull from the side it's easier to make small, burst pushes. D-Pad is a real improvement over the 360, I'm not sure if I'd call them amazing, but they're passable. Buttons feel nicer and the Xbox Logo lighting up is fucking sleek. Plus the weight just feels so nice, not heavy as the 360, but not light. Has enough weight that you can feel it in your hand and it feels nice.

Overall, since people here already brought up the Dual Shock 4, it's much better than the Dual Shock 4. The DualShock 4 feels so cheap, the rubber on the sticks feels so spongy and cheap, and the triggers aren't as good as the 360/One. A big improvement over the 360, and just because it's better than the alternatives, it's the "best" and "perfect" controller as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't even tried the Rumble Triggers, since I haven't been able to play a game, have high hopes for it, and even if it doesn't live up the hype, everything else is so good it wouldn't change my opinion that the controller is the best, all it can do is raise my opinion on the controller.

Review scores had nothing to do with how good the game was it was because of the lack of content which is going to be added in time.

The fact that it got 7-8s with 8 characters and a lack of modes is pretty impressive.
 
I'm going to the midnight launch in hopes of some serious swag. I won't be getting a console until later though, as mine is pre-ordered from Amazon . . .

I will buy my games at the midnight launch though. AND SWAG! GIVE ME SWAG!

I'm not saying it is cheap, just that's the feeling I get from it. And I have had a fair amount of time to get used to it.

There are multiple embargoes but the console embargo ends at 11:59 PM EST.
 
Ahhhhhhhhhh, highly enjoying the Xbox 360, I just can't decide which next gen console to purchase. It is killing me. I was set on Xbox One long ago but the hardware had me reconsider, but I love the UI, Xbox Live community, achievements, integration, etc. I have literally been going back and forth changing my mind for months. What's funny is I was going to go day one way before.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't deciddeeee lol

Rubber naturally feels better but sturdy plastic will always feel cheap to a extent, that doesn't make the controller itself cheap.

The DS4 has a lot more to worry about in a comparison at any rate.

I will say, as others have, that the impulse triggers feel much better in use than I imagined they would.

Things happen, I may forget my password because of the concussion I also sustained. If I live alone and the police drop me off at my place and follow me into my apartment to see if I really own the place and they notice my Xbox doesn't know who I am.... it may get a little awkward.

I know there's gaps in my scenario but don't sweat the details.

What if someone decapitates me so they can play games on the Xbox they stole from me. Sure its less likely but it could happen.... how do I protect my investment? That's part of my estate we're talking about hear. They're stealing from my descendants :(

Less plausible scenario than the ones I listed above but it's a valid use case. Do I have to create two profiles. Me and BeardedMe on Xbox Live?
