Rubber naturally feels better but sturdy plastic will always feel cheap to a extent, that doesn't make the controller itself cheap.

The DS4 has a lot more to worry about in a comparison at any rate.

It should be able to learn slight variations in your face, like different light settings (that's what the first kinect does anyway, maybe the second one will rely more on the IR image). I don't know how robust it is to stubble/clean shaven, though.

agreed. those black/white buttons were sometimes a pain, though. if i remember correctly, those were used for flashlight and grenade? layout on the controller s was better, but still not optimal.

would totally have not minded a return that similar sort of design. a premium sized controller for (lets be honest) a gargantuan console. i mean, the xbox one really is enormous.

btw, anyone know if the xbox one controller even has a name, official or not? i personally think its a FANTASTIC controller. would like to know what to call it

Personally I'm looking forward to both Ryse and Killzone eyecandy.

Both machines are powerful enough to produce such visuals that will impress me for a few days at least.

It's pretty obvious the XB1 launch lineup is marginally better based on variety alone and Forza will score well (god I miss Project Gotham Racing) but they're not really worlds apart especially when you consider they share 90% of the same games.

Now if Ryse shocks the world and scores some crazy numbers maybe things will be different.

It's really nice having a genuine hype thread, this really is making the wait even more unbearable, which is a good thing in my opinion. Makes this all the more memorable, start of a new generation and all
