Can you guide us on how to do screen shot on XBone? and who can do them? What is preview program?
The Preview Program is sort of like a late beta/user test of the Xbox One's dashboard/OS. Most months have a new update with added features (sometimes big updates and sometimes small ones). The Preview Program normally gives people a chance to test out and find bugs of a release about 1 month before it goes out to everyone.
They are not perfect though and sometimes can cause issues (part of the reason it's a Preview Program and not a final release) so I wouldn't join it if you are worried about your console not working 100%. I've had issues in the past that have had Kinect commands stop working and apps crash others have had bigger issues, mostly it's OK and any issues get sorted within the Preview as long as you report the issues to MS (via the Feedback app or the Feedback forums).
You can get into the Preview Program by being invited by someone in the Preview Program.
It's currently only available to users in the Preview Program but you double tap the Xbox button and a option to click "Y" appears to save a screenshot or if you have Kinect you can use the command “Xbox Take a Screenshot”.

They are hosting on the xbox.com server?, is that correct?, is the only way of getting the xbox.com URL is by sharing the shot to twitter and copying the URL?
Are they going to remove the shots after a certain period of time?,I can imagine that the server load for hosting, and people accessing, these shots is likely to be huge, so I would imagine that alot of the overhead is being adsorbed by the cloud?

They got on xbox.com when shared by Twitter. You can copy the address. We have no idea if they will be deleted after a period.
Ok, so there is no way to get the URL without sharing to Twitter then, is the screenshot uploaded to the xbox.com server by default?, or does that part only happen once you share it?
Basically, what I am getting it, is there a way to get the URL by "hacking" a link so you don't have to share with twitter first.
Might pave the way for an xboxclips style screenshot site.

at the moment I'm still waiting on some backend stuff to happen at Microsoft's end before it becomes available, notice that screenshots don't appear on smartglass or Xbox.com yet.

Those combat animations are just awesome. The facial expressions,the way cuts appear where you slashed...and bleed...so cool.

These Halo 4 shots look great. Ignoring the obvious short comings of the game they'd have done well to delay the game for a year and just have it as a launch XB1 game.
Currently only with twitter. Screenshots are uploaded by default.

I wanted to set this image as my background on my xbox one. It exceeds the 3MB limit for backgrounds and therefore can't be set as a background. Microsoft needs to raise the limit.

Save it and convert to 100% jpeg quality in Fastone or similar?
The limit may be there for performance reasons, your best bet would be just to convert it to a jpeg. I've done it for you here

Yeah I'm serious. I don't know how people are unable to notice. Whether or not your computer can support Full or not doesn't matter.
Almost all Forza pics are washed out ��
EDIT: PNGs are NOT uncompressed, they are lossless. JPGs are lossy compression, BMPs can be uncompressed (which would give you huge files).

Maybe this was answered earlier, but if double tapping the home button takes the screenshot, how do you do the snap menu? Isn't that done by double tapping the home button?

It always takes the screenshot when you press the Xbox button, but you have the press the Y button in the snap menu to save it, just like you would save a clip of the last 30 seconds with the X button.
Man, I took about 100 screenshots for a 360 panorama yesterday but the only way to get them on my pc is by sharing them individually through twitter.. nevermind.
There's also a bug that stops the screenshots from being processed. I'm unable to share or save the first 20 or so that I took.

Pressing the Xbox button makes the pause menu appear in Dead Rising 3. This makes it damn hard to get a clean screenshot in time, but it is possible.

These are excellent shots. It is amazing how good those shots look on my MacBook Pro Retina screen. MS really missed an opportunity to make this function available earlier. This will be really huge when it is rollout to everyone. I already can see myself spamming twitter with "Ori and the Blind Forest" screenshots. Amazing times ahead

I'm 90% sure it's performance reasons. I set an insanely high res concept art photo as my background that's exactly 2.99 mb or something similar, and half the time when it loads my profile and loads in the picture in the dashboard, it crashes and I have to restart the Xbox. It's a huge pain in the ass and I keep forgetting to make a bug report.
