Have any of you guys heard when Disco Elysium is finally dropping on consoles? I thought the developers said this year but they've been really quiet. My PC can run it easily but I want to play it sitting on my couch with a controller. Maybe they will release it for the XSX next year. It would be wild if it drops on Game Pass day one.

That looks so much better. Again, more in line with the stuff we saw previously.
I have no idea what’s going on with this game, or if it’s just down to certain scenes with tons of dust and dirt flying around, choking YouTube’s bitrate. It’s a bit of a two-face.
I certainly hope it looks like this. Either way, the game looks like a lot of fun, and unique, but looking this good would be a substantial addition to the enjoyment.

I also have to say, what’s going on with Gears 5 on Series X is super impressive and unexpected.
I’m so glad I just happened to accidentally hold off of playing the game.
As has been discussed before, the shot on XSX is on PC Ultra in terms of it's reflections, so it is a lower setting than the Insane Shot. The Floor shouldn't be that shiny, and the diffuse nature of the PC shot's floor is much more realistic and demanding. PCs Insane settings just aren't manageable at 4k/60.

The video is on Series X, as he says in the comments, he got one recently.
His previous videos all said One X, if played on One X.

Looking for some advice from the Xbox one vets. Do the 360/original games go on sale and if so how often? Just wondering if it's worth waiting for the legacy games I want to go on sale or buy at full price, since I'm all digital.

Even though I have a PS5 pre-ordered, I'm happy for everyone getting a series X! Can't wait for next gen, I'll have to get a series X once the more alluring exclusives start rolling in.

As the days go by and excitement builds I’m increasingly irritated with myself I didn’t have my act together to try and snag a pre-order. A few months ago I was ok with perhaps picking up an XSX sometime in the new year. But basically since pre-orders went out Microsoft has been killing it with their messaging (despite no launch AAA tent pole game, which makes their marketing effort even MORE amazing) and the prospect of not having one around launch REALLY hurts.
I just recently got a new LG Oled and have had my mind blown with Xbox One X games running on it. I mean....Forza Horizon 4...unpatched and without the extra grunt of the Series X has basically exploded my eyeballs with the visuals. My wife is even transfixed watching me play it. Not being able to play this, and other things on the Series X (assuming I can’t get my hands on one) is going to painful. At this point, despite the pandemic, I would consider lining up for one at launch. This is something I would basically NEVER do, even without an ongoing pandemic....so, there’s an indicator of my desperation to get one.

I honestly didn't know so I decided to check and thank you for asking. I just got the DLC for FO:NV which I've been playing lately but I never bought the DLC for it. I got all 3 for $7.50!
So yes, apparently Xbox 360 games do go on sale.

He's right, but it's still visually much improved because MW 2019 uses Dynamic Resolution Scaling so was rarely at 4k on One X and had frequent frame rate drops and screen tearing too.

Anyone else super curious to see if the Metal Gear HD collection works with Auto HDR? I imagine the orange and blues of Metal Gear Solid 2 would be interesting to see, and if it improves upon the clarity of Snake Eater, that'd be even better.
Other games I'm very curious to see with potential Auto HDR would be Ninja Gaiden Splinter Cell.

I would have to imagine pretty quick. On an eternal SSD on One X were pretty crazy. Under 10 seconds to load from a saved game and transitions to new areas was about 5-6 seconds.
