Thanks brother, I appreciate the breakdown. I actually did my conversation a few days ago. I wanted to wait but I was in the middle of playing Yakuza Kiwami 2 so I did the conversion as soon as my ultimate expired.Elpidio Valdés
Alighty, took me a little longer than expected, but I just got done doing the conversion successfully on my son's account. It went a little like this:
-Turn off recurring billing on Ultimate days before expiration
-Cancel membership(you'll still have it through the expiry date)
-Allowed a couple weeks to pass
-Bought 12-month Gold and 1-month Ultimate codes from Eneba with promo it was $59
-Login to Microsoft.com
-Goodle "Microsoft Redeem Code" and follow the link to Microsoft code redemption page
-Redeem 12-month Gold
-Offers 1-month free if you activate recurring billing. I did it.
-Redeem 1-month Ultimate
-Flashes info popup that describes the conversion rates
-Go back to subscriptions page and it will have the converted membership...
My result:
13-months of Ultimate for $59. That makes me, my daughter, and my son I've done this for recently, and now we're all set for a year.
What I ended up doing was buying 2 years of gold on Amazon, I also got 2 months free by activating the recurring billing like you did on each card. I had to buy Ultimate for $14.99 because I had already done the $1 deal though. I ended up spending $135 in total but I have Ultimate until January 2023. At the end of the day it was worth it. If next gen games are going to be $70 then I spent less and I will be able to get tons of AAA games for the cost of 2.
