That's definitely part of it then. Weird. I turned off auto-upload for all my captures. FYI, some accounts have gotten banned for uploading anything "lewd." Not worth the risk.

I regularly capture video or pics and they store on hard drive. Then open the capture app on the console. Press start and upload or share or whatever it's called should be on there. You can upload to Xbox app or One Drive.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe something else is turned off deep in the settings.
 
Okay so it works about half the time.

If I just press the button to take a picture, it won't work however if I choose to record a clip, cancel that and then take a picture it works.

It is beyond my comprehension how it can happen / work that way so I'm giving up and quitting while I'm behind.

Kind of a weird question, if anyone knows.

How do I buy a game from a different region on Xbox?

I'm specifically looking to buy the Pal version of Deadly Premonition (already own the NTSC US version). Just want to get it for posterity's sake and have a new set of achievements to hunt again.
 
One good thing about long generations is that even if get pc for next Gen, I could see x being used exclusively for online games for long time

Well this sucks, Yakuza games are no longer Play Anywhere titles. At least the individual titles. It seems like the "Yakuza Complete Series" bundle is still marked Play Anywhere.

That's weird. Hopefully they're just working out something. Sega is on pretty good terms with Xbox and PC, and most stuff is PA.
 
Folks, recommend me some OG Xbox RPG's that are currently backwards compatible with Series consoles.

I have/own the KoToR games and Jade Empire. I am no that familiar with the OG Xbox's library personally, unlike X360, so recommendations would be helpful.

The only other one that comes to mind is Morrowind. Great game for its time but man I don't think I'd be able to play that game nowadays. I think the 2 KOTOR games are the best og Xbox RPGs out there.

I've commissioned a local warehouse for a few BC games too, some that I've never played.

- Infinite Undiscovery, surprisingly this niche JRPG is backwards compatible and I've somehow avoided playing it since 2008.
- Splinter Cell: Double Agent V2 (aka the OG Xbox version), aside the X360 Double Agent, my only experience with V2 is the PS2 port, which I've read was compromised in various ways. All OG Xbox games run in 4K (with 4 : 3) so I'm looking forward to playing this beaut.

Yeah I've got it to. Click the game tile, takes you to the info for the game then you click on play game to launch it. Fucking stupid.

I'm not on any insider channel.

Hmm, I guess they've started rolling it out gradually then.

You can apparently change it back to the old style in settings so you don't have to go through the hub page.

New game hubs on Xbox consoles have arrived. Game hubs include relevant information about the game selected, such as player stats, achievements, friends currently playing the game, recent captures, available add-ons, events, and more.

For a subset of players, game hubs will appear whenever a player selects a game from their recently played games or installed games lists. The default focus in game hubs is always on the Play button, so players can jump right into the action with a quick double-tap from the game tile to start playing.

A new setting has been introduced that allows players to launch games directly, instead of through game hubs has also been added. To activate it go to the personalization settings or to My games & apps > Manage > Games & apps.

Encharted Arms? I have very vague memories and recall it not being that good so no rush to get physical copies.

Gonna go pick up Infinite Undiscovery and some of the OG Xbox SC games from the local gaming warehouse either today or over the weekend.

* I know Infinite Undiscovery isn't exactly the best rated game either but I've never played it.

I actually got that JRPG for $20 (full price) only because it was Ubisoft and I knew the clock was ticking. It's definitely a bummer. Enchanted Arms, yeah.

while i was looking at my xbox/pc play anywhere stuff when i noticed the yakuza games were missing, i thought there was something else missing. i finally realized it was Rise of the Tomb Raider. i bought the trilogy awhile ago so now the 1st and 3rd games are play anywhere, but not the 2nd. this stuff is becoming really annoying since when something is play anywhere, i tend to buy it on xbox vs steam.
 
Had some free time, took a quick trip.

Now, the biggest dilemma. When will I play these, lol. I have the Raidou remaster coming in the mail in a day or two and then Death Stranding a week after.
