For anyone that owns these two games for the Xbox. For Burnout Revenge, the main menu FMV that plays, do you here a click from the xbox and the fmv locks up for a sec then goes back to normal? For X-Men Legends 1, do you hear two clicks every time you load into an area in the game?

The Burnout Revenge one happens every 10 seconds or so, game plays fine though. I just sent my Xbox in for repair Monday and got it back today and it is still doing that. The only game that seems to have benefited from the repair is Star Wars Battlefront 2, where it would click on the main menu and in game and it would lock up for a few seconds.

When it locks like this, the controls lock up as well.

I have a bad feeling that wherever you sent your Xbox for repair really didn't repair it, or replaced the dying DVD drive with another dying DVD drive.

Yeah I own both of those games and do not recall having those problems.

Yea, I didn't think it was normal. I just got off the phone with them to schedule another repair. Why is it, Microsoft has the worst customer service of all 3 console manufacturers? I mean, besides thick indian accents that you get 99% of the time, they sound like they are talking into the cheapest headset you could possibly buy.

Not only that, Microsoft and Comcast have something in common that I've never seen with any other company, their computers seem to go down every few minutes and they ask you to call back in an hour heh.


Edit: Also what is also wierd about the clicking and skipping, it doesnt happen in all my games, just about 5 out of the 22 I own. I've taken Burnout Revenge back to the store to exchange it for another copy and no difference. Just odd it doesnt happen with all games.
