Xbox Sunday Showcase will be 95 minutes long

95 minutes. thats how you fucking do it. sick and tired of sony and their short ass showings. you would think they were on a tight budget with the way they acting when in reality PS brand is making more money for them than it ever has before. show them how its done, microsoft.

Agreed. Bring back Playstation e3 events and TGS. Fuck these stupid state of plays…

You seem like the guy who'd rather a girl who brags about what a bad bitch she is online and doesnt do shit rather than one who simply stays off social media and takes care of shit.

No people just expect new exclusive announcements for their platform/brand around this time of year. Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, everyone is doing it

Where the fuck is Nintendo btw?

I'm holding out hope that there is a direct next week. With no e3 this year Nintendo didn't have to announce months in advance. Maybe they'll do a direct during standard e3 time but will announce a couple of days in advance like they typically do outside of an e3 direct.

Anticipation Popcorn GIF

Genuinely excited to see some of the games they've got coming. Although like the past 8 years, it will be cgi trailers of games that will never come out or are so far from launch that any hype will long gone.

no gonna lie... I get bored and even sleepy and in the worst-case scenario a headache (especially if they only show trailer after trailer after trailers after trailer ). Some f them with the same kind of editing...yikes.

So, again....I am expecting: Extended (4-8 minutes) of uninterrupted Gameplay.

I thought they said they will have a direct this month? Maybe I imagined it lol

What time will it start?

SoP and the last one was really late in my time zone.

I'm hoping I won't have to chug a bunch of caffeine to watch this time.

What I'm hoping for is a reveal and release date and slightly lower price on the Elite Series 3, no dumb gimmicks, just the good form factor and better designed back paddles this time around.

The only thing I want out of this is a mic drop Japanese acquisition that won't happen.

"Capcom" "Bandai Namco" "Konami" "Sega"

Any one of them:

It would appear...well...that the conference content might have leaked already...Rather, I should say, on the verge of being leaked, judging by a recent tweet of Tom Henderson, at least. I could not care myself, but those of you who are hyper-sensitive about your "surprises" should take this into account...

Time to bring the goods, Phil

Please keep the CGI bullshit to a minimum. Better yet, don't have any CGI trailers at all.
95 minutes of just gameplay and realtime trailers would be ace, but I doubt it

I'm not. Sick And tired of companies showcasing a teaser cgi trailer for their game when its 4-7 years out or when they don't even have the fucking gameplay figured out (Everwild).

Every major company does this and its god damn tiring. Just show us the game a year to 6 months before its launch.

Then you should tune in to these more often:

(They're more for gameplay showcases of very soon game releases).

95 minutes is weirdly specific lol. You'd think they'd say "around 90 minutes" or "close to 100 minutes" or something like that.

Now that I think about it, how long were the E3 presentations from Sony or MS back in ancient times (meaning before 2019) on average? Weren't some of those almost 2 hours long, or am I misremembering? Because I'm pretty sure some of Sony's conferences during the PS3 era in particular were pretty damn long.

Still, 95 minutes is pretty meaty. Let's hope this includes a full Starfield blowout.

They felt twice as long but had twice as much talking time. Today's viewers wouldn't be able to handle the long stretches of devs talking about their games in between trailers. They can barely handle when the camera pans back to anyone today for 30 seconds. Nintendo started a good trend of 'less talk, more show' with their directs.

Give me CGI trailers!

I'm not gonna lie that I like them. But with quick gameplay snippets along with them. That's enough to get me hyped and for me to know if I'm interested in it. Full gameplay trailers always just bore me tbh. Once I know I'll get the game I try to go dark for most of the gameplay trailers afterwards. I want to play the game not watch 10 mins of someone else playing.

It can be three years away for all I care. I'm not some child that's gonna cry about something taking too long. There's always other stuff to do or play at any moment. If devs wanna show it 3 years in advance or 3 months before release. I'm not entitled to a quick release date once they announce it.

FF7 remastered was perfect. Nobody complained and it got everyone hype. Sometimes announcements alone are good to hear

95 minutes of epicness! I think my body isn't ready yet! Still bring it on team green! Gotta show the world what all of your studios are working on!

Thought someone had tweeted stating that Xbox was pushing devs for more gameplay instead of CGI hopefully that's the case!

If Xbox has all of this (as a surprise not leaked) is it Sony 2015 year of dreams?

Forza 8 Spring 2023
Wolvenstine reboot (no date but it has Gameplay)
Starfield gameplay with no date
Redfall gameplay new Q2 2023 date
Small horror game by Kojima

I'd love to see KI come back. Maybe something new for remedy. Another good Wolfenstein game to top her off. Other than that not much would get my Jimmy up.

I mean most of that list is 3rd party titles we already know about, dropping them into gamepass doesn't make them more exciting.

Microsoft gotta put out some new games that get people excited. Starfield has the best shot of being exciting

If they can keep the unwanted chitter chatter down to a minimum and keep their new game trailers tight and trimmed of all fat, we could be seeing upwards of 190 new games announced with actual gameplay footage.

Even if they barely managed to show only half that number that's still kinda good, right?

95 minutes of killing it. Now that's what I'm talking about. Hell, I wish they would pick up the torch that Blizzard dropped this year and sell online Blizzcon-like tickets for viewing this event. It's the hottest gaming event of the year and it speaks well of them that they're giving away for free what they could so easily have made a lot of money on, especially from whales willing to buy and stream a full-on 4k or 8k premium experience.

Sony is dealing the marketing deals for Callisto, so there's very little chance of the game being on gamepass day one!

I think that's what all of us want in game shows. Good content, streamlined and efficient. Maybe an intro by a director or exec and that's it. Get off the stage and just show the content for the rest of the show.

Problem is, these kinds of shows are always infiltrated by senior level employees getting their career boosting face time for 5 minutes promoting game or feature xyz before showing it.
