Xbox360 Wireless Controllers - LAN Parties???

with all the crosstalk and signal issues, how easy will it be to have more than 4 X360 controllers in one area?

more than 16?

even more than that?

this was an issue a friend brought up to me, and i was wondering...

Maybe you have to "register" each controller an individual box?
I bet that is what the little button next to the mem card slot is for anyhow. with the cascading ))) next to it

given the lan party culture brought to Xbox thanks to it's selection of FPSs, I'd expect at least 32 controllers to be able to operate in close proximity... or the option to hardwire them (the connector on the bottom?)

I bet you somebody will be a dick and hit the Dashboard button during a game. :lol

(just kidding, I'm sure they have something built-in to prevent that)

I'm sure they'll have more than 4 360s being played in close proximity during E3. It would be a collossal oversight by MS if controller interference between systems was any sort of problem.

Probably won't happen at all. It's pretty difficult to screw THAT up.

I wonder how Microsoft is going to have the controllers tied down. Does Nintendo use Wavebird or the old school controllers at their booth? I don't think Microsoft wants people walking away with souvenirs.

They can just put a frame around the middle of the controller and tether it to the kiosk with a cable. Somebody can still walk off with one, but it's a good deterrent.

another bad thing... when that guy cut the cord on that cube controller, at least it didnt work...

people can get away with working x360 controllers at e3!!!

:lol :lol

Yeah, I'm sure someone is going to steal one and sell it on Ebay. He'll probably get enough cash for it to pay off 2 X360's.
