Also, some normal and affinity missions open up new AMs. You could give those a shot and see if you unlock any

Only thing that bugs me about this quest is that two lv.50 enemies spawn right where the enemy you have to fight is...

Just AFK and leave your game running for a bit to get some fuel back when you die. I had that issue as well although I
kept trying to fight with ground combat. I actually ended up beating him without using my skell on the final form, but took several tries. By the time I beat him, my skell did have like 2k fuel, so I could have used it a little.

you can leave the gamepad as the map screen and just that. largely what I do when I gotta play seriously.

Go aggro any Tyrant your size or bigger. Have fun.
Or just aggro a Leviathan. Hint:
You will instantly or near instantly die to their gravity attack.

the lizard enemies made that fight SO much more annoying than it should have. When they spawn, I usually died shortly thereafter. And yeah, the fuel does refill really slowly when you're just standing there.. I think if I were you, I'd try fighting on Ground, then maybe switch to your skell to take out the lizards when they spawn quickly, then get back on the boss until your fuel runs out again?

Didn't you beat chapter 6? The giant creature that fuck up the tainted was a telethia. Was a huge callback to the colony 6 scene from the original.

there's something extremely funny about the game not leveling your fucking party members when there's an affinity mission you gotta
and he levels up from 40 in the first battle to fucking 46 in the next match up and then if you still have him in your party he goes back down to the level you originally had him, which for me was like 20 hahaha.

Having a lot of fun with the game even if it has quite a few flaws. I gotta say though, the skell Insurance/pay to replace system is terrible. It significantly impacts exploration and experimentation in a negative way and offers no benefit. I shouldn't have to be save/restarting as much as I am. If I didn't I couldn't even afford to explore.
Post game you won't care. Joker will level your whole crew in like 10 minutes. Technically not even post game. Just get a level 50 skell with Phoenix.

doesn't really matter now to be honest. I don't care to do affinity missions as they aren't doing it for me, normal missions is where it's at. I run out of those NLA ones and I'll be done with the game.
Affinity missions open more normal quests, lol.
Also I recommend at least getting some of the super weapons for the sheer silliness of them.

fuck seriously? I hope not too many are locked behind party member affinity quests.
Post game you get a repeatable affinity increasing quest from Eleanora.
I know I'm wayyyy behind most of you guys now because of other obligations, but man I just finished Doug's first affinity mission. I was level 20, and I swear that lvl 18 boss was a tyrant without it saying it. no way should've been that hard. Once i had a solid strategy and actually went up a level lol, I think i would aggro a couple monsters in towards the end of the fight, which would just murder me.
But man i feel so accomplished taking that mission down. I should be much further, but i find myself exploring and doing normal mission than progressing the story.

I tried that but it ran out after like one attack. Lowered the difficulty though, still tough but I beat that fucker after a while. Thank God for that, otherwise I would have to have the game running overnight.

Basic Probes will mine them too. I don't know if there's any difference in quantity between them though, since it's kind of an awkward thing to test.

Guys, I just did "Lakeside Getaway" quest. Did it remind you...
It's heavily refereeing to Alien (The movie Alien) and I did really enjoyed that simple quest.
Her initial spot is on a ledge near division drive to the left.

It's in Oblivia, Scabland Fortress, near Nav 307. Area is filled with lv.40s, so I had to use Shadowrunner to find it. It's in a small cave in the area where the probe is, behind some Suids (took me a while to find that, I was looking all over the fortress, yet it was just there, lol). Chest requires Mechanical lv. 4 to open.
Up to 98k per tick, which I think is pretty decent for where I'm at in the game (still before Chapter 7)... I hope it's decent.

The game tells you this later than it should.
