Work.
We must investigate. I need online mode.
Welp, watching.
The has to take place in the same continuity as XC for it to carry the same name.
Probably the social network between your party and NPCs.-> social?
There's no continuity between this and Xenoblade; this is its "spiritual" sequel.
Please, tell someone recorded it!
Welp, I have to buy a WiiU now.
Though, I am a little concerned with the fact that you create your own character and that they seem to be a silent protagonist. Doesn't always bode well for a good story like what I expect from a Xeno game...
I did.
And i'm recording the IGN one too.
Both in 1080p.
If there was some late game connection, they certainly wouldn't reveal it at this point.

Any online mode details for this game or is it just offline? I know I asked this on other thread but no response. Sorry...

Livestream looks considerably better. They clearly have some goodies to show. What the heck were they doing with that trailer?
Story trailer or not it needs to sell to people. They release a Japanese voiced, english subbed trailer with a focus on the worst looking parts of the game that laymen would call Wii graphics and never look at the title again. This strategy is applied on a game whose predecessor sold far more in the West than Japan.
On top of that, they give the game a confusing title that even some Gaffers were not sure was a remake or a sequel.
Marketed well, this open world RPG with a 9.0+ predecessor has the potential to sell and help advertise the Wii U to a broader audience in the U.S. & Europe. See Dragon Age Inquisition or The Witcher 3 trailers.
But this is Nintendo, I should know better.
I'm conflicted about creating your own character and that being the "main character" for the story. I'm not a huge fan of silent protagonists in general because it makes the dialogue rather awkward sometimes. It's a nice touch for some customization, but having a silent character is kind of a bummer, imo.
The original reveal showed some sort of text chat window; but that's all we have I think, maybe they just abandoned the online multiplayer mode idea since then
That X=Cross thing makes me wonder:Doubt it.It probably takes place in the new world during Xenoblade's ending.
Agreed, but the game probably supports online multiplayer, it would make sense to let players create their own avatar. dragon age inquisition looks better imo...
Yeah, and I hope it doesn't affect the plot, since it seems all the Xeno games give the main character a "surprising past!" that is dramatically revealed later on (Fei, Shion, Shulk, etc.), but it seems the plot is already over-the-top so I'm not too worried about them toning it down.
At what points is the music prominent? I didn't have my volume too high but the music seemed drowned out by the voices...
The reactions in this thread were bound to happen. I pointed out in the initial thread how horrible this looked and people insisted it was a place holder...... that they chose to show in the initial reveal trailer.
I knew that the first story trailer would have people freaking out once they saw the mannequin faces up close and personal.
I blame you for jynxing it.Remember when I said the game was going to be 2015 regardless of what Nintendo's calendar said? And how people laughed at me?
Yeah, I've never been so disappointed to be right.
