I really don't think the stories of Xenoblade and X are related at all after knowing a bit more about the story. The way X starts out, it was Earth with our cities, landmarks, continents, etc. (obviously had more tech and was in the future). But with Xenoblade, the end of the game is nothing like that. It's just the ruins of the Bionis in the ocean and you can even see the Mechonis Fallen Arm/Hand in the distance. Xenoblade's world at the end is nothing at all like Earth... minus having salty sea water!
Nopons are likely only there as the token funny/furry race and as a nod to Xenoblade.
Not going to matter for me, Jap voices Eng sub is the way to go.Listening to Xenoblade Let's plays, I had forgotten how well the localization was done.
Those accents make it more...unusual? So it fits with the whole unknown setting.

Does anyone have a link to the IGN footage ? I recall they had a lot sharper resolution stream, YouTube is all blurry on 1080P doesn't do the game any justice.

Watch the Day 1 TreeHouse footage on the eShop. It's crystal clear.
It really would make sense for Nintendo to HD port XenoBlade. Like really.
is there a way to voice this to Nintendo? I would love to play Xenoblade with the Wii U Pro Controller

The Eshop video is better quality? I don't really see it. Huh.
Is it possible to rip from eShop? or are we stuck with YT video?
I wouldnt know about that stuff, but it assurdly should look better than my laptop, if I was to watch it on my laptop. I dont know which video has the space rihanna tho, it seems to be the only video on the eshop
Space Rihanna is in the second Treehouse Live demo, which so far isn't on the eShop:

I'm telling you, as soon as I saw that I could play as Rihanna, I stopped caring about "no Shulk", haha
The only sad thing is, and I don't know if someone's already said it here or elsewhere before, that the trailers already shows you're from a ship labeled United States, in a city pod named Neo Los Angeles. The idea of characters speaking with British Accents... Would be incongruous, to say the least... I feel like they've already painted themselves into a corner as far as that aspcet of localization goes. :/Listening to Xenoblade Let's plays, I had forgotten how well the localization was done.

I'd be stoked if it released during the summer. XC released Summer in Japan 2010 so that marks 5 years.
Also it would give me a lot of time to playthrough it.

How can I break it to my friends and family that I want to play a game so aggressively anime?
Because British people are incapable of living in the US? America has been called the melting pot of culture considering many people from different area's of the world have made their home there. Just because the colony structure is originated from the US does not mean the populace should be limited to a generalization of people.

They will understand.

I don't really understand why Takahashi wouldn't bring back XB's composers considering its quality and acclaim.
The score so far doesn't sound nearly as immediately special.
Love this one. Sawano music is glorious.

Yeah that song is awesome.

If it's serviceable (as is typically the case with English dubs at this point), or I just like it better? Sure. Just like the case was with the original Xenoblade.Yep.
You wouldn't watch an anime dub.
Or would you....?
Not sure if well-crafted troll post, or genuinely immature and insecure.
Yep.

I think that could be a legitamite feeling though! Like I said, Xenoblade kept an animeish demeanor while having gameplay that could be appealing to WRPG fans. So it's possible that Xenoblade X takes that farther (what with the customizable character, the new aesthetic with less saturated colors, the online component) but at the same time, it is undoubtedly a Japanese product. Mario, Zelda, and Metroid are some series that are associated with Nintendo's core players, but it could be new for some Nintendo gamers who like those series to think of Nintendo as making such a big game as Xenoblade that is animeish as well. And Xenoblade X is a huge game too, isn't it being made by a team of over 100 people? Nintendo putting that many resources into an "animeish" game probably means they want it to appeal to people who might not initially think they could find a game such as this appealing. And of course, its first reveal of live gameplay was done at E3 by Western Nintendo employees, even though the text and dubbing were still Japanese. Nintendo has an opportunity to introduce some more "Japanese" flavored games to their core fans, and I hope some of those core fans can be adventurous enough to try them.
Why are there still people trying to find some (story-)connection between Xenoblade and "Xenocross"? Are people really that used to sequels now that a standalone game isn't "acceptable" anymore? Basically the same thing with all the zelda timeline crap... why does everything has to connect?
I just can't wrap my head around that.
The fear of being childish paradox.
Again, this wouldn't be so prevalent if they hadn't insisted on that awful title.
