I find it a bit strange that some people are outraged about swimsuits but are entertained by gore. I can't wrap my head around it. You wouldn't catch me enjoying Mortal Combat, for example, but I wasn't the least bit offended by any outfit in Xenoblade. Maybe you could say that I prefer seeing the human body depicted intact, even if scantily clad, rather than as chunks of bloodied projectile meat.
And yes, it's related when you are moralizing about videogame content. You dont get to unilaterally declare your sacred cows off limits.

The more involved (graphically and story...ly) cut scenes become, the more silent protagonist feel like they're not really there. There's nothing wrong with silent protags (TTYD4life) but I guess for the online stuff this was necessary.

Lol, if there's one thing life experience has taught me, it's that the only people that have an urge for any of this are those that (1) get no pussy in real life, and (2) are virgins. Censoring is bad, I agree. But when it comes to customs within a country, I think they should be respected and thusly handled accordingly. NA is VERY violent tolerant, so guess what, show all the blood, guts, and gore you want. Japan's legal age of sexual consent is 13, so guess what, show all the under-age sexual natured content you want there. But that's not part of our countries values, and those that don't agree, can move to Japan and take their beliefs with them.

I will not buy it either, I don't have Wii U yet so I don't have that much investment in this yet and if they really show that they are that insecure for western markets to censor this I will not buy it just to stand by my principles. The line has to be drawn somewhere and people will hurt their feelings for anything, if they keep listening to them the censorship will never end, the choice is already given to the player whether wear it or not and that is enough.

Seriously who cares? People here just talk about it like its shoehorned into their faces. You even have to search and customize for it. The people that really want to do this (like in many other games) are at fault. Just let the game be and like the developers intended it to be. Just sayin and changing things like these are reasons for more delays and I dont need delays because some stupid time wasters are posting shit and get mad about literally nothing. Nobody gets hurt and I take this rather than leaking brains like in Mortal Kombat (where I dont get the option)

To assuage any fears, I'm pretty sure the spoiler Mendrox posted about Lynn is a misconception as I saw the same pictures (and the cutscene when it was on stream). So I don't think there's any twist about her that happens in the first dozen hours of gameplay or so that people have reached so far.
This isn't even on-topic anymore. Please take that somewhere else.

So I know your avatar can be recruited for the game, but if you erase your save will your old avatar still be out there for others to enjoy, or does it default to the new one.

I'd think your character is only out there if you're online because you have to get it "back" afterwards somehow with the XP it gained.

You're missing the point. Some people do not consider a teenager in a swimsuit to be sexualization especially when the whole cast is able to wear those outfits. In some cultures a woman's hair is sexual so they have to cover it or be considered immodest and in others (like some indigenous Americans before genocide) they were usually bare chested. So what some people think is too much may not really apply everywhere.
Anyway, I'm done with this because I'm only helping to derail by responding.
Here's the thing though. If it was a Fall release (which I'd gather they know by now) they would say (at least I would hope they would) "This Fall" or even "This Holiday or This Winter". They've done that in the past. So I'm still hoping out for a June, July, or even early August release. Not going to put money down on it but the wording is at least allowing me to think in this direction.
