I mean, it's no different than fighting the same trash mobs all over the city over and over, except, Majima actually puts up a fight and is fun to fight, and you get a big EXP reward every time.
i disagree. i think it seriously cheapens majima as a character. having played the entire series (including the spinoffs), all i can say is that part of what made majima such a great character over the course of the series was the fact that he wasn't everywhere, which, in turn, made each encounter special/memorable...
again, i had no problem with the scripted encounters. but the endless random, repetitive, same-dialogue-each-time, encounters? where majima's reduced to a friggin' punchline? no, not so much fun
