Are you in the US? Still waiting for mine.
No I'm in the uk I'm afraid. Just had a bit of a mare with the postman trying to deliver my parcel whilst I was at work for the past few days.

How do you get to World 3? this shit is starting to piss me off. Also fuck the second worlds boss, I gave up, I couldn't melt the asshole down enough without dying.

While you're floating you can also let go of A and press it again, to continue floating at a lower altitude. Nice with a few techniques you have to discover for yourself.
That world 4 boss is probably the hardest boss fight I have ever played in any game ever.

God, I really want to like this game but the controls are not good. The roll is nice for traversing the stage quickly but having to be precise with it is frustrating when you're moving too quickly...
You can roll slower and more precisely by not tilting the control stick the full way. Not sure about keyboard, though.
I couldn't get this to workIs it a skill you unlock? If I let go he just drops and doesn't float again when I press it.
You get a new skin for Yooka. Itgives him a pair of shorts since people were complaining that he was naked when the game was first revealed.
The skin carries over into new games so you could do a second playthrough with it.
Wow, I never actually got hit more than one time during that boss. It does take WAY too long, though.
Whats the trick to the yellow gems that are at/below the track in the kartos parts? Trying to do the one in theand I feel like I need to get them to get the pagie.casino
Also its bs that you can be hit and lose gems after the finish loop.
In a good or bad way?

Bad. Basically try and memorise the entire fight because you have no time to react.
For the record I think the same applies to Sonic 06 so maybe I just "get" platformers more easily than most people, as egotistical as that probably sounds
Yea, it was shit. Immediately following the horrific Kartos challenge was even more painful.
Though really, only phase 1 is horrible. The following phases are quite easy, but you don't get much time to practice given how likely low your health is from phase 1(and your nerves are shot with concern over screwing up just to avoid another restart). But definitely a frustrating mess all around.
Holy shit that rextro racing mini game in world 1 is terrible. Like, how could they think that shit is enjoyable?
I... I liked it.
I don't like the layout of the first level in this game. I find myself getting lost way too often and having to go to higher ground to figure out where to go. Even using the main temple where Trowzer's is as a base point doesn't seem to help, when usually in a game like this that would act as the central area.
I don't know if it's just me or Playtonic got a bit sloppy there.
It took me two tries to get the hang of it the first time, and one try to beat Rex's hi-score. Really wasn't that bad to me, and I assume it's supposed to reference Rare's Pro-Am?

@Nocturnowl: Run in a circle, when it gets stationary, do a double jump and jump toward the point where it crashed, avoiding the wave by going into its center.
The boss definitely is very tight though and the second phase is quite difficult to do flawlessly.
I don't think so. You will need the float move obviously, but then jump up, keep A pressed until you start floating and then let go and press/hold it again shortly there after.
i don't understand why they had to make so many of the controls janky asf. even the basic chameleon roll is complete shit when compared to something as smooth and accurate as talon trot.
I turn v-sync off in pretty much every game for lower latency inputs...and I'm playing this purely streaming to my phone lol.
This game got significantly better for me once I unlocked some more mobility abilities and turned off v sync so the game doesn't run like garbage.
They really should give you the flying jump and high jump abilities a lot earlier, especially since Banjo fans are so used to having both moves as core abilities.
Please explain (streaming method).
Yeah I was kind of dreading to go there after watching that video but it's a nice change of pace.Hmm I actually quite like Capital Cashino.
