.. your dreams reflect current games you are playing. (or just games in general)

For example: I've had dreams about Tetris (doing as many different combinations to get a Tetris), GoldenEye (dream was in first person view, with people blocky and things overall blurry.. also, a friend in the dream "killed" me with a grenade and everything turned red and I heard Bond music), and Tomb Raider (I was Lara Croft running around outside this lake and everything was pixelated to all hell).

I've had tons of other dreams about games as well, I just can't think of them at the moment. :lol

When I first got my GBA, I'd played Golden Sun so much after I put it down I'd close my eyes and see Djinn. Advance Wars had a similar affect on me. Unreal.

I'll be completely honest with you guys: I didn't get this idea from GameFAQs -- in fact, I've NEVER browsed GameFAQs. I got the idea from the VWvortex.
 
One time in the jungle level of Goldeneye I waved my hand in front of my face to brush away the leaves.

I laughed at myself for a bit and then kept playing.

That was similar for me with Tetris. While I also had Tetris dreams, I would also "see" Tetris blocks falling when I'd close my eyes, and once again.. try to come up with combinations. Heh. :D

GoldenEye had a weird affect of me too. If I played the Siberia levels, I would actually FEEL cold. It was real weird.

No, but I guess you play too many videogames when you try to pick up objects with your car. Actually, you might be playing too much Katamari.

With how realistic Gran Turismo is, that isn't necessarily a bad idea.
 
Ever since I started Oddworld Stanger, I've had the urge to wear a cowboy hat. Problem is, I found one in my closet a few weeks back.
 
- when looking at at tree thinking that's some nice textures.
- when playing Lumines alot seeing block combinations all around me in real life.

I have to remind myself while browsing Ebay that it actually uses real money, and not gold, silver and bronze pieces like the AH in Ironforge.
 
A national newspaper wrote about videogame violence and stereotypical characters and complained about Metroid Prime where "a big strong man shoots at aliens".

Me, I played Bombastic the other day, just half an hour or so, and sure enough those dice started spinning in front of my eyes when I went to bed. Crazy game.
 
When you joke with a co-worker about the fact that because your boss is so fat, the number of polys that it takes to render him makes your framerate drop real low and your reality gets choppy.

Hell, I could go on for days in this thread :lol

I had a dream where I was playing real life halo 2 with friends and relatives.... and characters from futurama.. I was able to lock on to the professor's banshee with my RL because he was flying so slow.

getting personally offended over comments made about a videogame character tells me the problems run deeper than playing too many games.

OMFG I want to get a retail job just to spew this shit for an hour before they fire me for creeping out customers.
 
I know I've played too much WoW in a day when I close my eyelids at night and I still see the icon bars arrayed at the bottom of my vision :|
 
When you stand up to go to the bathroom, Metal Gear Solid music suddenly starts to play (shuffle can be a wonderful thing) and you start walking like Snake, take a leak, and walk in the exact same way back....

You sit down, music changes and you suddenly realize what you just did.....

After playing Destruction Derby 2 for many hours, I got into a real car and wanted to seriously start running into other cars. Thankfully that didn't happen.
 
When you start to act out videogaming stuff in real life. I swear when MGS/Splinter Cell came out I used to walk around the house all stealthily, freaked out my parents many a times :P

I used to read the instruction booklets all the time on the way home. Now I hardly, if ever, look at them. I just glanced at the RE4 one like last week, yet I've had it since release.

And I vaguely remember that test.. although hardcore is such an open term, it can't really be.. "tested".. heh.. :) So many different definitions of it..
