Your biggest accomplishment so far in life?

Hmm...I really haven't accomplished much.

If I had to say something then I'd probably say how I turned around what I did in High School. I barely, and I mean barely, graduated High School with a 2.0. Then I went to community college for 3 years and got accepted into a top 40 university where I'll be starting this fall.

I haven't let this kid get killed yet. I suppose marrying his mom is also up there.

same couch, different floor, 2 year difference!

reading GAF.

Seriously though, having kids is a special accomplishment? Granted, everyone loves their kids and all, but come on folks. Maybe raising them to become great people, that I could understand.

Convincing my wife to marry me. Subsequently having two wonderful kids. Getting my MBA and doing well enough in my job so that me and my wife can afford for her to be home with the kids every day.

Applying to a job and actually getting it (doing manufacturing processes for vascular stents and catheters)
Up until now, I've basically had jobs handed to me.

Also watched 21 seasons of Star Trek in 5 months <-- very proud of that one

Goals:
- get married and have kids
- get a good career in automation/production
- retire
- become an old man

-AA in music theory
-High school diploma
-Job as a cashier at Kmart

That's it. I guess I could say I'm in my 20s and still attend church yet am politically moderate. But those are more of just things you don't normally see on internet forums than actually accomplishments. I'm only 21, I haven't done much with my life yet.

Oh yeah. And goals:
-Join the Air Force and make enough money to have a house
-Get married and have babies
-Work as a producer or assistant to one.
-Get my music in commercials
-Maybe eventually go for a bachelors or something.

getting accepted into study abroad program I suppose, and the years of language studying that bring me basic language proficiency. I wanted to learn a second (3rd,4th,80th) language my whole life so that's just a personal accomplishment i'm pretty well on my way to achieving ^_^

Nothing crazy. But I guess my
- Little Big Planet level being most hearted (little dead space)
- getting a job offer from media molecule
- getting into the school I wanted (Gnomon).

I guess finishing my 2 years conscript in the army is a accomplisment.

Future goals:

-Getting a Job
-Getting a degree
-Have wife and kids

I'm a simple man.

Welp; I have no job, I have $40K in student loan debt and about $8K in credit card debt. Shit kinda sucks right now. That said, I'm proud of myself. Nothing has ever pissed me off more than when I went to a "summer welcome" before my freshman year of college, and the financial aid assistant said "it would be impossible for me to afford school; and that the school isn't for everyone." And that was it. :-/ It's a state university, that everyone and their brother can get into. As a white male, with 4.3GPA while working 40hrs/week since 9th grade; there was no reason I shouldn't be able to get a degree from an in-state school. **** that woman. It took a crap ton of work, and a lot of debt, but I did it. I love my degree. And while the economy blows right now; I have no doubt I'll be fine in a few years.

Smaller achievements:
Worked 40+hrs/week for all of highschool and managed a 4.3GPA
Worked a pizza job, a retail job, and was a TA while going through college, still had a 3.3GPA
Voted "most likely to be famous" by my high school class of ~400+ students
Voted "best TA at the University of Missouri" in a popular vote student election
Paid off two cars myself
Have a wonderful girlfriend

I'm WinoMcCougarStein and I'm fucking awesome!
-I graduate college.
-I've fucked hot chicks.
-I have a well paying job.
-My personality melts people.
-My handshake makes people weak at the knees.
-I have great hair.
-I have a shit ton of friends on facebook.
-I have a savings account.
-I have a great relationshop with my parents and brothers.
-I am HAPPY every morning when I wake up.
-I am very in love with my perfect fiancee.
-I eat a lot of potatoes.
-I lOVE THE FUCK out of diet soda.

Thread's full of younglings, so it would've been a better idea to list your biggest accomplishments AND what your goals for the future are.
In that case

my near future goals would be;

varsity basketball
graduate
drivers license

What does that last part mean?

There seems to be this overarching theory that white males get all the good stuff. I never saw that once while going to school, at least in regards to aid/scholarships/grant/loan help. I applied for at least fifty different scholarships before going and during my first year. I didn't get a single one. I had a 4.4GPA, was the editor of the school paper, was in several academic clubs, worked 40hrs/week; and came from a single parent household that brings in significantly less than just about everyone at my high school. I even had some rejection letters tell me, specifically, that I was not rewarded a scholarship because of something along the lines of "not meeting demographic requirements." :-/

Meanwhile, plenty of people who came from wealthier families, had worse grades, did less in school, and hadn't worked a day in their life managed to get near full-ride scholarships.

Sorry, I didn't mean to claim that whites should automatically get scholarships or aid. That would be absurd. I agree. I just got frustrated when I was turned down yet people like my example got more than I would have even asked for. That's all. My apologize... should have provided context. I meant, considering the assumption that white males have it easy, I found it to be absurdly difficult.

well let's see:

-Prince of Persia Legacy - created a fan site that got so popular that Ubi is using its name for their official forum. I started this site back when I was in 8th grade. I was able to meet folks who worked in the gaming industry and attend E3.
-Graduated with a BS in Biology and Biochemistry while working and doing research about 10 hours a week each (total 20 hours). While I was president for Biology Society, and part of the executive board for the following clubs at my university: AED Honor Society, MAPS, Salaam, and ACS (Chemistry Club).

Goals: (God willing)
Hope to finish Master Degree in Biology with a neuroscience concentration.
Hope to find a job in my field.
Hope to get married to a wonderful Muslim Pakistani girl.
Hope to start a family and have a few children.
Hope to buy house for the first time ever in my life.
Hope to pay off my college loans ie approximately 40K.

-Graduated from high school with a 4.6 GPA and I was 12th out of 66 other students (private school). Then again, half of my graduating class were... Correction. They still are a bunch of dumb fucks.
-Went through two years of bullshit at a "university" I absolutely hated.
-Finally convinced my parents to send me to a real university that doesn't tell me every other day I'm going to burn in hell because I don't agree with their theology.
Funny how you went to both a Christian High school AND university.

You must not know any conservative Christian parents.

My family literally has people who say "Follow our religious beliefs or else no college fund for you."

Just the major stuff:

Found and maintaining a friendship that I can truly rely on
Coming to America
Learning English and being complimented for it, even with my sometimes awkward French accent

As for goals:
Go to Japan
To learn fluent Japanese and be complimented for it, even with my sometimes awkward French accent
Find bagged milk in America
Find poutine in America
Kiss a French Canadian

Also, I've attended a Christian kindergarten, elementary, and middle school. Not to mention all the church services and Sunday school classes I had to sit through.

I have a better grasp of Protestant Christianity than most of the Christians I know in real life.

Got a graduate assistantship worth 20k and into grad. school in a highly competitive field, and am only one of two grad students admitted out of god knows how many people (50+ for both assistantship and school, after round three of portfolio and interview cuts)

GAF has some pretty accomplished people. Reading this stuff was impressive. Hope I do well enough that one day I can make GAF proud. /goal

Finding the evidence to put a real bad guy away for 17 1/2 years, probably a life sentence for him.

He was a real piece of shit, molested his girlfriend's daughter for years and years. My part of the case was proving receipt for a ton of child pornography.

Actually I guess I have two, another guy who was abusing his grand daughter who lived with him. He got 25 years; that asshole's definitely going to die in prison.
