someone posted some writer's blog and it had a creepy rendition of a GAF thread about chewing gum. the further we delved into the site the more fucked up shit was found. it was so weird. I cant find it though

I just read through that whole thing, I completely lost it at the banana. It's really sweet though too. I don't know why anyone would think it was made up, the whole thing took me right back to that exact time in my life.

Also it's amazing how every other poster in these old threads is banned.
 
I can't find the thread, but it was about some guys grandfather, and how he helped produce some obscure song in the seventies which bombed here, but gained popularity in Japan (something along those lines).. Anyways, he put some effort into making the thread. You got the sense all he really wanted was some acknowledgement, but nobody replied to it.

It came to some peoples attention afterward, and hilarity ensued.
