I buy mostly single player stuff. I have about 70 downloaded on the Steam Deck alone. I'm not even counting Switch. I'd still have a massive backlog in a month.

Got Mass Effect legendary edition, Witcher 3 complete edition and Final Fantasy 7 remake (both parts) installed on my PS5 Pro currently, I'm sure I can make do.

I have whole bunch of games from previous console generations as well as current , all on disk.

I also have a few TB of downloaded and installed games with more installers saved to NAS (GoG is awesome).

And I have whole bunch of ROMs for emulation that I ripped from my gaming collection.

I will be fine for years.

yes.

elden ring (i'd not care if i played offline)
persona 3 reload
quidditch (i don't play it online)
cyberpunk
stellar blade
shin megami tensei v
digimon world next order
balatro

the only online/multiplayer games i have are Diablo IV/LoL/Valorant

if it really came to it i could use my phone to download a game through tethering since i have unlimited internet data. if my internet goes down i just hook my phone up to my PC/laptop for internet access.

i still have 2TB free storage on my PC

I'd have a bigger problem not being able to use wi-fi for phone calls than what games I have available.

That aside I have plenty of stuff readily available across PC, PS5 and Switch to keep me occupied for several months, let alone one.

For sure, I have all the games I need for the next year or two, as long as steam offline doesn't freak out. I know GOG will be fine

Fine here, but I would like to play Indy this week, so if the internet could hang on a few days, that'd be great.

Yes, but if my internet were to go down for a month, surely there was some sort of catastrophic event that has occurred that I will need to take care of. So, I most likely wont waste my time playing video games.

Spukc

always chasing the next thrill
diablo 2 and 3

and the games i do play online i play like single player games... they just force me the online shit

yup. i think the longest my internet has ever went down was maybe like 5 days and that was the worst downtime in maybe the last 10+ years.

All my games are physical disks off-line or have full off-line version, so yeah this is not a problem to me. Specially since my country isn't the best for good and neither stable internet.
Honestly I would have to worry about work things to do without internet.

I console share, and don't have physical so my PS5 would be dead. Xbox I'm not sure, it's set as my primary. Switch would be same as always

Of course not, Ms exaggerate the necessity to always be online, even local saves can be a problem being off-line.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Yeah, I'm good

I also have a NAS that has my library of GOG games (about 750 of them) backed up. And that's in addition to the 15 or so games I have installed presently.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say I could be cut off for a year and still be perfectly fine.
