Suikoguy

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
Suikoguy's 2005 List

*Kingdom Hearts 2 (Date still up in the air)
Mega Man X Collection
Phantasy Star Universe (Probably Next Year)

Multiplatform: If I get these, the system I choose will be determined based on xbox 360's backwards compatiblity.
Destroy All Humans
Burnout Revenge
Shadow the Hedgehog
Ultimate Spider-Man

While I have a Xbox 360 reserved, i'm going to wait till fall till I do any sort of list for it.

Hmm.. 13 titles
Quick math
49.99 x 9
29.99 (Katamari)
39.99 x 2 (DS Games)
9.99 (Conker, MS Retail)
= 529.88

I guess if thats all I buy the rest of the year, its not too bad :lol

Whats your list?

PS2: Burnout Revenge, Shadow of Collosus, Okami, Black, Everone <3 Katamari, MGS3: Subsistence

PSP: GTA:LCS

That's about it, unless I decide to get X360. That's still up in the air, depends whether ot not Sony can deliver a PS3 Sprind 2006 launch.

Using Suikoguy's system:

Game Boy Advance
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Gamecube
Fire Emblem
Sonic Gems Collection
Game of the Year: Twilight Princess

Xbox
Stubbs the Zombie
Conker Live & Reloaded

PS2
Atelier Mana: Eternal Iris
Kingdom Hearts 2
We Love Katamari

Nintendo DS
Sonic Rush
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Trauma Under the Knife
Advance Wars DS
Castlevania
Mario Kart DS
Super Mario Bros

$266.74 for all the above in italics after tax, assuming I still will be able to use my employee discount. Around $600 for eveything above with aforementioned conditions and assumed prices.

I have $347 in store credit at my store, which oughtta help a LOT.

For the rest of the year...

GBA -
Fire Emblem 8
Rebelstar Tactical Command

Gamecube -
Fire Emblem 9
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

PS2 -
Dragon Quest 8

Xbox 360 -
System
Perfect Dark Zero (probably, hopefully...)
Project Gotham 3
Oblivion (if it's out this year)

DS -
System
Advance Wars 3
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
(and these are under consideration...)
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga 2
Mario DS (this year?)
Mario Kart DS
Nintendodogs

PSP -
Virtua Tennis
GT4 Mobile (this year?)

PC -
Civ 4?
(edit) Age of Empires III

(edit 2) I have a 23" Philips LCD HDTV (720p native) but I think I might sell it and get a plasma (panasonic vieta) or dlp projection. *shrugs*

Like 20 DS games (at the moment, and those are ones that are confirmed atm for release in the US, this year, and ones that I definitely will pick up), Zelda, and Fire Emblem.

for the rest of this year eh ?

100% for sure
-Conker L&R for xbox
-Castlevania Aria of sorrow 2 for DS
80% sure
-San Andreas for Xbox
50% sure
-Dragon Warrior 8 for PS2
-We love Katamari Damacy for PS2

Conditional purchases
36" widescreen hdtv capable of supporting 720 P - 30% chance
~ Xbox 360 - 80% chance if above is purchased
~~ Dead or alive 4 and Kameo - 100% chance if above is purchased

And that is about it I think.

100% gaurunteed cost - about 120 canadian
80% - 190 can.
50% - 300 can.
30% and lower - 1600 can.

I wish there was a good 36 inch widescreen tv that didn't cost more then a grand... I don't want a plasma and I"m not sure i like LCD very much , games that run 60 FPS get a bit of motion blur action. Plasmas I'm concerned with burn in and the bulb life being only 4-5 years.

Xbox
-Conker
-Destory all Humans
-San Andreas
-King Kong (if good)

Gamecube
-Zelda
-Killer 7

PC
Age of Empire III
F.E.A.R.

GameCube:

-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Xbox:

-Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
-Conker Live and Reloaded

Xbox 360:

-Kameo: Elements of Power
-Perfect Dark Zero
-Saints Row (if it's any good)

I will surely buy more than this, but these are the ones that really catch my attention right now.

Gamecube:
Zelda

PS2:
Shadow of the Colossus
Okami
We Love Katamari
MGS3:S (is it even being released this year?)

Xbox:
Tomb Raider Legend
Conker
Ninja Gaiden Black

Hmm, short list for me, and even then most of these are probables rather than definites.

Okami (pending PAL release)
Dragon Quest 8 (ditto)
We Love Katamari (ditto)
MGS3: Substance
Resident Evil 4 (PS2 version)
Kingdom Hearts 2

Will possibly pick up an Xbox 360 if they're out here by the end of the year, and either a PSP or DS.

Be patient, prices will only drop further.
Don't discredit Projection CRT sets either.

But honestly, as the DLP sets get cheaper, its probably your best bet.

How expensive and how often do you need to replace a bulb in a DLP set?

As for games, DS made an impression on me so that's what extra I'll be buying now.

PS2:
Dragon Quest 8
Kingdom Hearts 2

DS:
Mario Kart
Mario and Luigi
Castlevania

PSP:
Virtua Tennis

Xbox 360:
Oblivion
Project Gotham 3
Perfect Dark(Maybe)
Madden

XBox

Definte: Ninja Gaiden Black, Halo 2 MP pack
Good chance: Ultimate Spiderman, Conkers
Maybe: Half Life 2 (My ghetto box is too weak for games, and my workstation is games free)

XBox 360

Definte: Gears of War, PGR3 (no, I didn't see it either), GR3, VF5 and other Sega demos (if they really happen)
Good Chance: Medal of Honor, Condemed, PD0
Maybe: Full Auto, NFS:MW, Kameo

Much of this will wait until price drops, but here's what I plan to buy:

PS2

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves
