Tremendous effort, but you forgot to remove the box of tissues next to the bed.sonarrat said:All right, I put tremendous effort into getting my room nice enough to share with everyone. It took two consecutive weekends before it was fit for human habitation again, but now it's like a whole new room. I moved all of my electronics around, as you'll see:

This is a bird's-eye view of my heraldic dragon rug and of my snow-leopard bedspread. Less clear are the Gyration wireless keyboard and mouse, with giant mousepad.

My electric piano, with Ravel's Toccata from Le Tombeau de Couperin on the music desk. The artwork situation will change when I act on the advice in my art thread, and I have a more modern-looking lamp which appears to be busted right now.

Visible in this picture are my dresser, a dragon fountain, an Australian flag (for no reason whatsoever), a stuffed snow leopard from the International Snow Leopard Trust, a dragon bookend and a dragon votive, as well as a blinding flash covering yours truly.

The business end of my room. Visible are a Paris-Roubaix poster signed by 2004 winner Magnus Backstedt, a Sony record-player with Harmon/Kardon controller with huge ADS speakers on top, each of which has a dragon on it; a platinum GC with two platinum controllers, flanked by another dragon; an Epson printer; model cars; a wireless router with a little toy piano on top of it; a lighthouse sculpture barely visible behind it; an NEC LCD1765 monitor, coupled to an ASUS laptop which is underneath; Altec Lansing speakers, with a subwoofer at the bottom right; RCA music recorder and CD burner; floppies; textbooks; a plush white dragon; French flag; Dutch-made acoustic guitar; rat's nest of cables; tennis calendar on the wrong month. Oops.

I want that bookshelf to have my children.
Where did you get it, and is it available online?
Great King Bowser said:You want to have sex with the bookshelf?
Anyway, I think it's called "Bookworm spiral", not sure where they're available in the states though.

Funny that if you look closely you'll prolly guess where I work and stuff. If this camera was a bit clearer you could read out my bank statements and my credit card bill (and the stuff I buy). My taste in music, the programs I use a lot on my computer, the consoles I own (there's a leaning tower of console boxes, I couldn't get them all into the shot).
And I just noticed, by looking at the pic, that I have a bag full of garbage right by my computer. *LOL* Never noticed that in real life.
Whoa, just noticed some pills behind my side cabinet...

The room does look a bit small, but I love the way you decorated it. If feels so much like some 17-century room for some strange reason. Love the beanie babies tooMemles said:Well, I finally got around from transfering some pics from my parents' digital camera, to my parents' computer, and then sending them to my laptop. Quite the process, but alas. The picks are also kind of big, so I'm guessing you can just click on the thumbnails.
So yeah...this is basically my room at University. A little small. Posters, from left to right, are: The Incredibles, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fraggle Rock, and then a couple more Incredibles and some Finding Nemo. In other news, my mini fridge is on top of my dresser, and there is an Armoire out of the picture closer to the door (I was outside the room when I shot this, btw).
Here's the TV setup, the only other thing of interest in the room, really. 20" Panasonic Tau (Not Pictured: Rabbit Ears to pick up 2 1/2 stations because I'm too cheap for cable), GameCube, games, and then the DVDs. Cheapo Logitech Speaker set rounds it out...doubles as a speaker system for the GameCube, as well as a set of speakers for my laptop, so I can use iTunes as an instant stereo, as well as for watching DVDs and downloaded TV Shows.
In a terrifying twist of fate, I'm stuck in the same room next year too, so at least I'm content with it. I get a lot of "How can you LIVE in here?" comments. Good times.
