How about we, you know, stop trying to get more oil and start trying to push hydrogen as an energy source?

Haha yeah because capitalism goes away when you have a democratic government. I'm sure that a democratic Middle East will just roll over and abolish OPEC because... its people... want... less... money...

Wait. What?

I was watching CSPAN the other day, and they ran a clip of a British TV interview with Tony Blair. It was completely unlike anything that is ever seen on American TV. The interviewer was asking tough questions, and when he didn't get an answer, he kept asking the question again. It was more of a televised debate than an interview, and it was fascinating. And it was with a reporter, not one of Blair's political opponents. Our actual presidential debates don't get that substantive.

Of course, Blair was able to hold his own. Bush would get up and leave the room in a panic if a reporter spoke to him the way the British reporter was speaking to Tony Blair.

Yeah, the american press is known as being VERY easy on its politicians.

Probably because my car runs of gasoline and I like drive my gas guzzler?
1. A country's policies should not run around one individual.
2. How long do you actually expect to drive a gasoline-powered car into the future?
3. Are you intentionally trying to sound selfish? First you pose an egocentric response. Second you nonchalantly admit to driving a "guzzler".

Meet the man us Brits call "The Rottweiler". He tears apart any politician who gets in his way. He once asked the same question 17 times demanding a Yes or No answer and the politican (current Tory party leader and all round shit bag Micheal Howard) failed to answer with a yes or no. I'd love to seem him interview George Bush :lol

I saw this on cspan like yesterday and was blown away at how british political leaders can be ridiculed by a live audience. Why can't we have this shit in the US, seeing lying ahole "leaders" sweating under difficult questions is the best TV around :p

I think China is going to have something to say about that.
