Zelda E3 trailer.

better be good ... last Nintendo game I will ever buy.

/heartbroken

I can't even muster enthusiam.

/hugs DS
/hugs Money for PS3

FUCK YOU NINTENDO

Twilight Princess was the name after all... Everyone who cried out "LIES LIES LIES" can now shut the fuck up...

Well it might just be the end of Nintendo, but the Zelda footage and the MUSIC was freaking fantastic! There are no words, could shape up to be the best zelda game so far.

too bad the rest of the show sucked :(

Yeah, and the music was original (not source music). It was played by an orchestra... wow, maybe the first in-game orchestral Zelda soundtrack. Anyone hear Zelda's Theme? Awesome.

This is the only thing stopping me from tossing out my CUBE

just so freaken sweet.

just think this kinds of games I will miss out on when I buy my PS3

Oh for fucks sake guys, Overreaction is defined here. It was a huge fucking misfile of a press conference, but basing your decision to puchase a Rev. without seeing ANYTHING is the epitome of stupid.

im just as dissapointed they didnt show shit but umm this is thier demise? lol wtf? talk about over reacting drama queens...they will show thier shit and it it wows u then what? are they back?

i would have loved for them to sho something but they didnt...doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

That trailer is like a prelude to the best Zelda ever and a farewell to Nintendo all at the same time.
And why do you think we wont see an even better Zelda (or two) on revolution?

Crap, I only have 3 crowns to hand out, and there are at least 4 drama queens in here.

Ah well, it's not the crown that makes you so regal, your majesties.

Well I don't, and there probably will be a great one for the system. The trailer just reflects my attitude towards Nintendo right now.

Nintendo being doomed is nothing new, guys. C'mon, they've been doomed for how many years? Since 2001? I'd say they got at least another 20 years of doomage in themselves.

Yep.

this is the biggest leap i've witnessed for a Zelda game. Much, much darker than OoT, and the music is fucking great. First time nintendo have blown me away this gen with music.

cannot wait for this, the last game i'll buy this gen. Just before i start next gen with 360

Very nice trailer, I really love the music. The only small detail I dislike is this pause when you kill a enemy. Nothing major, but it was already annoying in TWW.

It's been said a million times, but some of you guys are WAAAY over reacting. We know next to nothing about Rev.

Put this in perspective:

- Hype is minimal for the next Nintendo system
- GDC rolls around and we get some good news about online play, some info about Revolution
- Nintendo tries to calm everyone down with "E3 is not Revolutions coming out party"
- The hype (night)train leaves the station and snowballs way out of whack
- Nintendo shows Revolution design to great acclaim, hype train is at top speed
- Nintendo holds it's cards close and don't reveal anything solid, with the exception of some of the online features
- The hype train crashes, burns, explodes - people cry, bitch, moan when official word was "E3 is not Revolutions coming out party"

Everyone just calm down. We don't know jack yet. Wait for Spaceworld or E3 next year, we have atleast a year until launch. Chill.

LIAR its all about now. We don't want to hear "later", or "wait", we want now now now now. Seriously though, it does kinda suck that we get jack out of Nintendo, after Sony and MS blow the whole lid off, but they really did say it wasn't going to be the time.. Once again, overhyped to death. They just better have something major to make up for this when they do finally show it all.

Are you lost?

Looks gorgeous... the textures I complained about earlier don't seem to be as annoying in the video. I'm not too crazy about the SMS paint effect but the footage of link running towards the guy on the hog as the sun sets is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen in gaming.

Some people still think the "nintendo is in deep shit" is about revolution? They have one semi-big game (which looks great in this trailer btw.) for Gamecube and no third party support besides shovelware also on xbox and ps2. One (I think) surprise game for DS and none for GBA. Yeah, It's all about the Revolution.

Yes. The whole video was edited masterfully. That scene gave me chills.

The scenes that really stuck out for me:

-Link running during the day as a wrangler becoming Link running through the night as the Hero
-Cloaked figure (Zelda?) looking back towards the camera, the cloth moving perfectly.
-The black and white castle.
-The switch to the town again with the orchestrated Zelda's Lullaby
-The boss plant thing, roaring as saliva drips off its mouth
-The joust/charge at the end.

Good god.

Ahahaha. Sorry, I don't normally get into these things but I got a chuckle out of the usual call of "wait until Spaceworld" or "wait until next year" when it comes to Nintendo. :p I love 'em, but they wait way too long between releasing quality games. At least that's how I've seen them in the not-too-distant past.

All the bitching and moaing is most definitely because of the lack of information on Revolution today. If they blew their load today with Revolution do you really think people would be complaining about the lack of GBA, DS and GC games? Caaaaamon.

Edit. Just to be clear, I'm far from and Nbot - but this is getting really ridiculous.

Oh, and that Zelda trailer is amazing. The lighting is looking really nice. That end scene is definitely a huge cock tease.

im a little upset they're sticking with the same battle system. Its kind of tired, and unrewarding imo

Ah well, fighting on a horse should be great fun.

Well it seems that EAD atleast goes out with a bang this generation.

Is it just me or does the video lag behind the music by several seconds as the trailer ends? I've tried downloading it several times :(

the hi res IGN trailer is playing perfect for me.

Mind sharing ? ;) PM please, if it's inappropriate to the mods...

Though I'm a bit disappointed Nintendo didn't show anything much on Revolution (aside from the really sexy console design) this looks absolutely great. Just the music, atmosphere... everything.

I might get flamed to death for this but the graphics dont look to hot. I'm not usually a graphics whore, but I am one of the biggest zelda fan around. I rather wait a year and have Nintendo release it at launch for revolution with next-gen graphics, even though the extra year wait will be excrutiating.

PS: I know it's not going to happen though.

I do think it looks a little rough, but i guess thats down to it being early.

What if.... that is from the revolution? And the revolution will be.. playable tomorrow?

Megaton 2.1!

When is this releasing btw? Tell me its this year.
