Zelda in-game videos !

I'm curious, is this game much farther along in development than we thought as everything I've seen in the videos thusfar (I haven't seen all of them) are in english? Is Zelda going to be released in the US first perhaps?

I could be mistaken but I seem to remember TWW being in Japanese. But since this is a specifically tailored demo for E3 then it probably just english for that reason. God I can't think straight, too tired.

Story takes place between OOT and WW, eh? Hopefully, it'll explain how Ganon got out of the Sacred Realm then.

Probably at the end. I suspect Ganon might not be the mian villian this go around. As long as they don't pull a Starfox Adventures I'll be fine with it.

Hmmm the weird thing about the game taking place between OOT and WW is that the prologue of WW makes it sound like "a Link" is never around during this period of time.

But anyway, this all looks amazing. I'm so pumped.

Woah woah woah.

Wasn't Fado one of the deceased sages (I think he was the korok) from Wind Waker?

"(A spirit appears.)
Fado: Are you the new hero? I am Fado of the Kokiri Tribe. I know I appear to
you as a child, but the eyes can oft deceive. I am a most esteemed sage. I had
been praying here so that the power to repel evil would continue to be
contained within the blade of the Master Sword... But I was attacked by the
evil Ganondorf... and this is what happened to me. You wish to return the power
to your blade, don't you?"

This game is going to be fantastic. The art style, the tiny details, the classic Zelda elements (lantern!), new gameplay concepts, I'm so excited!

It would explain WHY Ganon got out of the Sacred Realm AND why Ganon and all of Hyrule was sealed. Also, keep in mind that Ganon was looking for Princess Zelda for a VERY long time.....

This looks downright amazing. I am very intrigued by the plot....and what's with the dark portals popping up? So many questions at this point.

Do these videos (in particular the direct feed IGN ones) showcase finished score? I thought it was gonna be orchestrated and this sounds pretty MIDI-ish.

It will be a mix.

I'm not sure about this, but I'd thought scores would be one of the later stages for game development when it is almost complete. From 1up's interview with Koki Kondo recently before E3, he said:

EGM: Have you started working on the music for this new Zelda?

KK: If you're asking me personally, no, I have not, but my staff members have already started working on that.

EGM: Will you start working on it later in the project, towards the end?

KK: Yeah, most of the time, yes.

EGM: Is there anything different in particular about the music this time around -- directions you've been given by Mr. Aonuma or anyone else?

KK: Specifically, I know that what I'm supposed to make are very dynamic sounds, now that the visuals are going to be rather photorealistic.

Nintendo PR: Does the change in graphics change the way you approach the music for a Zelda game? Does it make you think about the music differently?

KK: Actually, in a lot of ways, it's identical. After all, what we're doing is to try to make the appropriate music for the visuals, so whichever game you're working on the approach is similar.

The horse's hair moves in the E3 gameplay build something it hasn't done in any of the previous trailers (including the e3 trailer which is odd)

EDIT: Looks at the horse hair and coloring on the face again dr. guru VVVVVV

The colors are drastically different (why would the same image lose color in direct feed) and you can tell that the horse mane is different.
