Jasper said:I would love Zelda:TP to be a visually enhanced/extra featured rev-only title, but if that is Nintendo's plan, why would practically every nintendo manager known to us (the public), continually tell us its going to be a GC game?
Would they not think that would make the matter even worse ? lying to us over and over again, telling us the game is for the GC, and then suprising us with making it a rev launch title?
DefectiveReject said:Mario was always going to be a GC game, then it was an experiment.
Nintendo lie everyday.
The fella as Nintendo UK sdaying that he knew not aof a new DS then the next day it was announced and his staff announced they'd been playing with it the few days before it was announced.
Nintendo lie ALL THE TIME!!
fly high ~ayunite~ said:Hopefully if it is on the Rev then it means more grass.
Xellotah said:I mean't it will work on the Rev and WTF is it with people that the first thing they want with an upgraded zelda is f*cking grass.
Amir0x said:hello, Xellotah, it's an ongoing gag making fun of olimario.
Frankfurter said:But imho that is absolutely different to what they have done with Zelda. They had to lie about the DS Lite, otherwise they would have destroyed the unveiling.
Mario 128 never got a release date, we never got any screenshots, we (afaik) never got any concrete information, nothing.
On the other hand we already had a release date for Zelda, we had in on TWO E3's and on E3 2005 it was clearly the main Gamecube game.
I would be surprised if Nintendo would throw ~3 years of development out of the window just to give us a "Nintendo Revolution" game - and "Nintendo Revolution" in this case would mean that you either wouldn't use the wand at all or that it would probably be poorly implemented (or they would have to delay it even more).
This is a game designed from the ground up for Gamecube and imho there is no reason at all to put it on NRev.
which is what i am. This thing has disappeared right around the time near final dev kits have started to go out? I know Nintendo internally will have had them longer than everyone, but it hasn't been seen in a loooooong time now for a game so near to release (supposedly!!)Jasper said:I am discussing a rev-only game though. A game that will take full advantage of the Rev's graphic capabilties, controller and possible wi-fi connection.
bumpkin said:I think we'll see it out before May.
PhoenixDark said:I pray Nintendo didn't just delay the game to add Revolution functions. That would make me cry.
Shiggy said:The question is: Will we see visual enhancements on the Nintendo Revolution? I'm not thinking about something like the Kameo improvements, I mean a different improvement.
TheJollyCorner said:no man.... just admit it- you were pwned.
Spike said:Yup. Zelda and New Super Mario Bros in November.
Then they can officially rename November to Nintendo.

TP in November cel-shaded. Oblivion and xexex am suiciding.
soundwave05 said:Sales of this will underwhelm on the GameCube ... I gauruntee it, and if you don't think so take a good hard look at Metroid Prime 2 Echoes and Pikmin 2 both which suffered large drop offs from their originals.
Even Resident Evil 4 didn't sell so well on the GCN.
HomerSimpson-Man said:Though PS1 was very much alive after PS2 launched than GC will be or hell even at this point in time.
typhonsentra said:RE4 sold better than either of the previous Resident Evil releases on Gamecube and was the top Gamecube game last year by a long shot.
Magicpaint said:November is just too far... I mean this is the reason most people are keeping their Gamecubes... now if it launches alongside or close to Zelda with Rev-specific function (not confirmed but possible)...won't that be like a slap in the face to GC owners that were patiently waiting this game?
I would be really angry if Nintendo delayed this game last christmas just to make it 'help' the Revolution. But I'm still anticipating it with feverish excitement.
Super Mario Sunshine gave it a run for its money.
Solo said:Its Zelda. It was always going to be November. Lets not kid ourselves.
