I actually just switched my preorder from a LE to a regular edition. I couldn't care less about an extra wiimote on a system that won't be used after SS. As long as I get the concert CD, I'm good.

My Bf preordered this for me and he said the charge already appears in the CC bill. I though online stores weren't supposed to charge until the game has actually shipped, is it different with amazon?

Nintendo doesn't give a crap about Metroid, especially after Other M. They reprinted Mario, and they sure as hell would reprint Zelda.

The point is that they DID give in with a reprint, even if just once.

BTW, have they reprinted SMAS for TRU, out of curiosity? I understand TRU gets reprints of OOP Mario games for current systems for the holiday season.

Can anyone else get the Amazon.com page for the LE to come up? When I go to open orders and click the link to the item, it gives me a "404 - Document Not Found" error. It doesn't show up when searching either.

I hope they don't pull some crap and mess up all of the orders already placed. :/

An Amazon search of "Skyward Sword Limited" only brings up the regular edition. They probably just pulled down the page to keep people from hesitating on buying the regular edition in the hopes that the Limited becomes available again.

Usually, if Nintendo calls something "limited", it really is.

Just like the red 25th Anniversary Mario DSi XL last year. You should be able to still get it somewhere in a few months, but expect to pay a little extra. I don't think there will be another run.

The collector in me can't pass up the LE.
I know that 20 years in the future I will deeply regret the time I let the Gold Wiimote go and probably lose sleep over it until I prostitute myself out for one for a need that I won't even be able to explain.

I already have it pre-ordered at Gamestop. That trade 3 games get an extra 10$ thing is great, especially when you trade in a bunch of old DS games you could care less about.
