It's 30 tapes exactly, I know because I always had 600 currency on deck before dipping into it to get miyabi's w-engine.

And they have some value, especially anby 11's, grace's and koleda's are very good general purpose w-engines; of course you have to decide for yourself if it's worth using one of them instead of going after the personal w-engines, and of course some a rank's do the job decently enough as well.

I see you want it for astra, rina's w-engine isn't actually the best choice, since astra scales off attack, you want soukaku's.

What do you guys think about the value of buying singature S rank Engines from the pity store? I did some quick math, and it'd be like 33 rainbow tapes vs. guaranteed S rank engine.

I'm kinda liking Astra more than I expected, so I'm deciding if I just buy Rina's engine then shuffle the engine from Rina to Astra, or if I take those 33 pulls and just roll for Astra's sig.

I know I can get spooked at random with Rina's, which is what has me hesitating, but I also don't wanna waste the other 40~ pulls on Astra's engine and not get it, and instead get another Neko or S11 engine.

I’d save for pulls, I gave my Astra Sokakus engine, and Rina is just using slice of time, which seems fine

Congrats, if I had that many pulls left over I'd 100% get her to at least C1, 2 if lucky; you can make due without astra's weapon but astra's C1 is entirely worth it and you'd still have enough to get Evelyn guaranteed.

Thx, I would only go for Mindscapes if I had money to burn. I prefer individual characters. And of course they are good or even very good today. But in a year's time, would you still be using them at all, or would there be someone doing exactly the same thing but twice as good?

supports basically never lose value, which is why lighter/nicole/lucy/rina will forever be useful, astra is the same and like with lighter/rina, the C1 is quite strong and allows them to remain at the top for a long time.

I come here again asking for wisdom and guidance_ Who should I pull? I keep saying to myself "waifu over meta" but without meta there is not enough Polys for waifus so a balance must be struck:

I've watched videos on who to pull but the majority focuses on characters I don't have, like Cesar/Burnice/Lighter. Most say Astra is a no-brainer for her buffs and healing, but I really prefer Evelyn design and combat-wise. (from her gameplay snippets at least).

Qingyi is said to be the best stunner and could make my Harumasa team much better (Is her W-Engine really necessary?), and I could use a team who's good at dealing electro.
I'm also completely missing a Fire-based team.

Could any of the characters I haven't leveled yet work with Astra or Evelyn?

Is there a way to know if I am on pity? or does that reset when I pull the Limited Banner's character?

I have these guys and this much Polychromes and Films:

So you have about 250 pulls, not counting currency you get back from pulling a/s ranks.
You also have miyabi, jane and harumasa, three powerful DPS.
Unless Evelyn turns out to be hybrid support like lighter, she's going to need something like yanagi to make a real difference as DPS; and you'd still be missing lighter/koleda to make best use of her.
Astra however you'd be able to use on literally every team you have now, even without duplicates or her w-engine.
Caesar and qingyi are good, but I don't see them coming back for a long time, long enough at least that you can build your resources back up, so with that in mind get astra, and then after a month of using astra from now decide if you want to also get evelyn, you should have enough to get them both unless you turn out to be supremely unlucky.

the s-rank you pull on the limited banner is 100% chance of being the limited character if you pulled a non-limited one before, after pulling the limited character it goes back to 50%.
